Unless you can afford big losses, I wouldn't. The swings are way too wild and there's no clear data about the state of the trade. People who are in and believe in it have taken their sides, but I can't see any reason to move into it now. Even if you're betting on it bottoming out in a month, the system's quoting me $3,500 to buy $100 March puts.

Now that it's back into the territory of last week's move up, I'd say there's a lot of reason to be concerned. A pretty good amount of volume on the move down, too. Not much support on the order book. New money isn't showing up at the open.

Doesn't mean it won't pop but this will give even more experienced holders reason to second guess.

you could generally break retail GME buyers into the "holders to zero" and the "along for the riders".

it was a matter of time before a panic sell from the latter group, but it was hard to tell what proportion they were.

If you believe that the squeeze play is intact, that's your answer. There's a lot of debate over what the different claims about remaining SI actually mean and it's beyond my knowledge.

I bought a few shares for lulz with some of my pandemic crash gainz, they will be in my portfolio until I die or they do.

Thought about that. The counterparts to some of the selloff trades could definitely be the shorts themselves figuring $100 is their escape pod. The way I understand it, we get updated data on the 9th.
