Chit, I put in a order for AMZN when it dipped below 3300, but I was too slow and missed it by less than a second.

The new CEO of Amazon is the guy who started AWS in 2003 and led it to being one of the most dominant businesses in the world, I wouldn't be worried about having the CEO of AWS being the CEO of AMZN... AWS is the best part of AMZN. This is the guy who is responsible for AMZN stock exploding so much the past few years.

60 short term (within a week of announcement). Probably around 15 immediately if news of no merger, lot of big money bought in the high 20s so I think the short term floor got raised.

Thanks for the insight. Just used the "stop loss" function for the first time, set to $22. cool feature, hopefully don't need it.

Do you plan on holding long term if the merger goes through, or taking your profits at a target price?

In b4 republicans can’t buy anything from Amazon because of capital riots.

I'll have to evaluate my position based on how the market reacts tbh. If the market reacts favorably then I might trim and keep some Lucid shares long term if not then I'll probably wait to see if ARK buys and try and sell on a peak from that.

Why would ark ever buy! What kind of tech do they have? Obviously I'm not toooooooo informed on lucid. But you already know where my bias is.

From what I've learned, it has strong tech in EVs and AI/Cybersecruity. QNX software is valuable and they have many growth opportunities . Chen the CEO, is praised and he gets a huge bonus if they hit $30/share so he has lots of incentive. All I got for now but I'm in it for the long term. Hoping for high 20's again in the coming months but maybe that's hopeful. We'll see what happens. I have a feeling many MM's dropped their positions in order to get into other stocks along with many retail investors. I feel like it's on sale right now.

Their battery technology alone would be investment worthy. Their ADAS system is light-years ahead of Tesla's right now due to Elons refusal to use Lidar. If Cathy has invested in Butterfly she'll sure as fuk invest in Lucid in either ARKK or ARKQ.

But seriously, their battery technology is top tier. They've actually been making 9 figures in revs off of just their battery tech while they begin production on actual vehicles.

Just don't depend on the stop loss saving you. If it doesn't happen, it'll drop so fast that it'll plow right through any stop loss. It's also possible that any bad news will come out before 4 AM PST, which is before premarket opens for most retail investors. All the big money will leave while we can't react and have us holding the bag.

greed took the best of me today. I slowly made around 20k trading stocks using big names like google, apple, etc as small time hobby. Then i got hyped up, cashed out all my stocks, and put in gme. lost it all in 1 day plus the 5k i started with in GME. Learned my lesson but i feel nauseous.

Wow Mark Cuban is on wsb doing an ama.

He basically said the only reason the plan failed was because Robinhood didn’t have the funds to cover. He said next time, and there will be a next time, find a broker with trillions so they won’t bat an eye.

This. AWS is probably the future. So it makes sense. And Bezos is still "around."

Problem will be finding someone with that capital, and the motivation. But....thats all it takes.
