The problem is these tech companies got HUGE while pretending to be neutral, and now when they are too big to fail and hold monopoly positions throughout society, they want to dictate what can and can’t be said on their platforms, who is promoted on their platforms etc. according to the political ideology.

Imagine if Target, Wallmart and all the other major American shopping shops decided to only serve or predominantly serve one side of the political isle.

Agree with most if what you said. However the timing of the deplatforming of parlor was just over the top. Amazon google apple all pretty much at the same time and not due to any new policy, rule, or feature lunched by parlor.

It's pretty amazing how big the coalition republicans have to build to win an election. Have to outnumber Dems in counties like 6 to 1. A solution may be to start assigning cities their own EVs after they grow over a certain % of the state's population. It would be a way of assigning partial representation which some states already do.

So Chicago is 20% of Illinois population and passes let's say a 15% threshold to be considered a megacity in the state. So if you win Chicago you get 4 EVs and if you win Illinois outside of Chicago you get 16 EV.

And it's perfectly fair as the cities EV is equal to the cities population relative to the state as a whole.
