F*ck buying clothes srs

Went to multiple retailers today to buy some regular day to day shirts. Mostly searched for solid colored t-shirts, maybe some shallow vnecks. Shirts to wear around.

No store had size L shirts... or the ones they did have were neon colored or were lame ass graphic tees
Wtf man.

My search for some new gym shirts went even worse. BRB everything moisture-wick or camo colored.
Everything in stock was small, 2xl, 3xl.

This is the 4th time I've gone shopping for basic clothing and returned home with absolutely nothing.

Will rep for good suggestions to buy clothing.

Took my money and went instead to the grocery store and bought turkey, protein, beef and rice.

I was just thinking about this today. Im the type of dude that finds clothes that I like and buy a ton of the same thing. People must literally think I wear the same clothes everyday. And LOL at going to the store?

Lately I have been sold on Ten Thousand Gear. Fit and quality are great and have little/discreet branding.
Bought 10 pair of the same black shorts LOL.

I typically do the same.

But I recently threw out nearly all of my clothing and have been unable to find new clothes that fit me well.

Thanks will check out suggestions

Just shop online unless you're an irregular fit.

Just bought like 10 plain tees online.

So many books I've read tout the value of having a simple wardrobe just to eliminate one more decision out of our day.

I'm slowly migrating my wardrobe in that direction.

I do have a hard time finding clothes that fit me.

I have broad chest/shoulders, but short torso.
So most larger fitted shirts will be waaaayyy to long on me. Or way too baggy in the midsection.
Add in that I have big, but short arms. So sleeves are usually way too tight. Or come down to my elbows.

This is why i just wear plain white t shirts and jeans. Jockey classic v neck. XL’s are $10 each. If you are decent sized they fit perfect after a washing.

But FML this reminds me i need to find some jeans. Last time (2-3 years ago) i ended up at the thrift shop buying old ass jeans because everything new is “skinny”. Even regular cut jeans now are way smaller than they used to be.

I actually just saw an add from True Classic for tee shirts that are supposed to fit better. Maybe worth looking at? Like for a 3 pack for $45.

Your only other bet is to just shop on line. Me personally, I like to physically see and touch the fabric to make sure I’m getting what I want. So I can understand your frustration with stores not having anything in stock.

But to each his own.

Most online retailers have free returns. So you buy what you think you will like, try it on and send the stuff back you dont want.

Tbh. I buy clothes online but can't remember the last time I purchased clothing online that actually fit correctly.

I bought a few shirts a few weeks ago online. And the length from collar to shoulder seam were legitimately different on each side.
Laughable.

Really prefer to feel the material as well.

Did you want salt on your pretzel?

If you want plain black or white t shirts then check out Uniqlo. Good quality and relatively cheap.
