Question about porn

How long will it take for my brain to kinda get reset after watching excessive amount of porn throughout years?

Im asking because I read about negative effects of porn on human brain and I saw side effects like loss of memory, loss of concentration, even stuttering etc.

So I watched porn regulary since 2015, then last year I quit for a month and since then I have been watching every day and masturbating on it.

I quit porn about a week ago because I noticed it wasnt going anywhere, there are absolutely no positives in watching it, its too toxic and you gain absolutely nothing from it. Enough is enough. Im done.

dude its probably the hardest thing i've tried quitting. i can quit weed, anything else. i would completely quit sugar if i wasn't a diabetic (type 1). but you're right there are no benefits and i am usually disgusted with myself.

Stay off that chit

I myself found it kinda easy to quit. Because of how repetitive porn is . Its the same thing over and over again , it gets old .

Now if u told me to quit weed I'd be at a loss

"While some guys with mild cases of porn-induced ED can reboot within 3-6 weeks of no PMO (no porn, masturbation, or orgasm), for others it can take up to 4 months. And in some extreme cases, it may take up to a year or more to fully recover."

This is porn related ED but this site has lots of good info. Give this a read.

Weed is SO easy to quit. If you can just make it past the first few days of that mental “urgh I wanna smoke” then no prob. If weed is tough to quit for anyone they should NEVER try anything else for risk of addiction. Most likely won’t be addicted just trying it once but what you don’t try won’t hurt you.

As far as porn, I’ve never seen the appeal of watching other have sex all day long... so I can’t really speak towards that.
This body holding me, be my reminder here that I am not alone.

Yep I read something its a good subject to talk about. I remember when Terry Crews almost broke up with his wife due to excessive amount of porn. Porn is just toxic, its very negative on your brain and psyche and I cant wait until some time passes so I can clear my mind a little bit.
