I thought India would be near the top, considering how so many of them work as doctors. In the U.S., Indians are right there with the Chinamen in college attainment, GPA, scholarships, etc.

Although East Asians have higher average IQ than the West, they typically have less geniuses. A Genius is someone with outlier high IQ fused together with specific personality traits, such as moderately low agreeableness(which Asians are high in) and moderately low conscientiousness(aka rule following). The genius is more important to a society because they invent things that propel the entire people into better frontiers(think Isaac Newton, Edison, di vinci). The genius needs to be disagreeable so that their new ideas can be brought to the forefront of discussion without fear of offending people. To be disagreeable is to not care about offending. Also, being low conscientious allows geniuses to think outside of the box and break rules.

So, although East Asians may be higher in average IQ they don’t typically have the best inventions like the West does.

Also, the West’s bell curve of intelligence is wider, therefore more genius and more dumbasses. Asians typically have a smaller bell curve, yet their average is higher.

No it's that their population is gigantic and mostly poverty stricken so bad they can't go to school. This goes for many of these countries. If you take IQ of every citizen that say was at least educated to the 10th grade you would get a better idea.
