It's snow FFS if you're out in the street cussing and threatening to make the guys life hell and knock him out because he doesn't want you shoving your snow onto his yard, well...you're the sore thumb sticking out I guess. Picked the wrong psycho to be a douche to

Who knows what beef existed between the couple and the shooter to the shooting. At the end of the day, there are lots of lessons to be learned...
1) Assume people have a very low threshold for committing homicide. A lot of them do.
2) Don't engage in verbal altercations with people, including threatening to physically assault them or threaten to make their lives hell. That kind of talk might get you shot.
3) Don't tell people with guns to "go ahead do it." This couple thought they were invulnerable.
99.99% of the time, you can get away with being an obnoxious Karen, or threatening people with physical violence. But eventually, you'll piss off the wrong person. Current events have people basically on the verge of snapping. A cop acquaintance of mine said that he's seen a huge change in police interactions during the pandemic. He used to only really get the usual suspects - bad neighborhoods, bad homes, bad people...now most of the calls he responds to are middle class successful people who are just now having their first interactions with police. Normies are literally losing their minds.

Another point of the video and maybe messed up but after the dude was shot and he was screaming to call the cops. Thatโs a perfect example of the fact that cops canโt protect you. They report crimes. Very rarely stop them. So need to protect yourself. Doesnโt fit the liberal agenda.

Hole fuk what a chitty way to end a long life for a couple.
Cant say I like either side in the fight though.
Life lessons:
1. Donโt be a needless dik
2. Donโt assume shooting someone with a firearm is going to immediately stop a threat. People can do a lot of things after being shot in certain cases.

โHe opens the closet door and finds himself staring down the barrel of a .38 revolver,โ said Walton County Sheriff Joe Chapman, who relayed the womanโs narrative to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. He asked that her name be withheld.
The woman fired six bullets, five of which hit Paul Ali Slater in the face and neck area, Chapman said. But Slater was still conscious.
โThe guyโs face down, crying,โ the sheriff said. The woman told him to stay down or sheโd shoot again.
Slater, unaware that she had emptied her chamber, obliged as the mother and her children ran to a neighborโs house.
The injured burglar eventually made it out of the home and into his car, driving away before deputies arrived on the scene. He didnโt get far.
โWhen you got five bullets in you, it makes you kind of disoriented,โ Chapman told the AJC.
Deputies found Slater bleeding profusely in a neighborโs driveway.
โIโm dying. Help me,โ he told them, according to Chapman.
Slater was transported to Gwinnett Medical Center and is expected to survive, the sheriff said.

Damn that video made me sick to my stomach. Not sure why itโs not that graphic compared to other chit Iโve seen.
How did that lady survive after what appeared to be execution shots with the pistol? Maybe it was a .22?
Cot damn that was ruthless.

One a time, slowly maybe we will get some relief...
Vista outdoors gets another ammo factory online.
Vista outdoors gets another ammo factory online.
Bullet Sales Are Booming As Vista Brings Remington Factory Online
Vista Outdoor VSTO +0.2% reported another record quarter for ammunition sales fueled by fears over civil unrest and gun control, as the company brought its recently acquired Remington factory online to keep up with unprecedented demand.
Vista Outdoor, a Minnesota-based manufacturer of ammunition and outdoor sports products, said that sales jumped 35% and gross profit jumped 84% in the third quarter, ending Dec. 27, 2020. This included a 41% sales jump in its shooting sports division to $402 million, with a 120% surge in gross profit.
Vista Chief Executive Officer Chris Metz said in a call with analysts Thursday that sales had surged during the coronavirus pandemic, fueled by a โpent-up work-from-home, letโs get outdoors type of surgeโ and also concerns about civil unrest.
We saw a lot of folks looking for self-sufficiency and a lot of people looking for self-protection,โ said Metz, referring to the industry estimate that more than 8 million Americans have bought guns for the first time since the pandemic, fueling demand for ammunition. He said the industry has also added 1 million new hunters.
The company has 38 brands, including ammunition brands American Eagle AEO +3.8%, Federal, CCI and the newly acquired Hevi-Shot and Remington, and other brands including Bushnell scopes and binoculars, Bell bicycle helmets and CamelBak, which partnered with Peloton to produce a cycling water bottle.
This was the first quarter where Vista began to produce ammunition through the Arkansas factory that it purchased from Remington Outdoor Company for $81 million in October 2020 after Remington filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection for the second time in two years.
Metz said that the Remington factory exceeded results in quickly coming online as the company hired hundreds of new workers. โWe are excited to be able to infuse the market with this sought-after brand,โ said Metz.
---------
Vistaโs competitor Olin, which makes ammunition through its Winchester brand, also experienced robust ammunition sales. The company, which also makes industrial epoxies and adhesives, recently reported a quarterly loss. But the company said that ammunition was the strongest part of its business and managed to offset its overall loss.
Winchester said its sales doubled compared to the year-ago quarter after it started operating the Lake City U.S. Army Ammunition Plant in Independence, Missouri, a plant that used to be operated by Vista before the contract went to Olin. Olin said military contracts and civilian customers attributed to the boost in sales.
The future is bright for ammunition sales, according to Moodyโs, which upgraded Vistaโs credit rating last week to B1. In October 2020, Moodyโs changed the outlook from stable to positive, with a forecast for continued demand in ammunition all the way to 2022.

And the most confidence in your equipment as well your abilities that a person can have. Nobody would blame him for not making that high risk shot, regardless of what another person did or did not do. But, you hit the kid, your life is over. That's a lot of **** to sort out in a few seconds before sending it

Also in reference to video above, kinda concerned that my G43 even with +2 extension isn't gonna stop even 2 attackers...time to get a G19? Or CC a baton as well? Dam

Counter point: The median number of shots in a private citizen pistol/carry defensive gun use, when shots are fired, seems to be 3. Rule of 3's, up close and personal and fast. Three rounds, three seconds, three yards or less.
Buuut then a large percentage of violent attacks involves multiple attackers.
Last I read, and no right now I can't point to where but it was a good source, in the majority of DGU's where shots were fired, nobody was even hit. And many DGU's are psychological stops, as ASP would say, the FIBS factor, **** I'm being shot, I need to GTFO
So where does all that lead? IDK. A G43 or a Shield is probably good. Having it and having the knowledge and ability to use it effectively if you need to is probably going to be all you need, in the unlikely event you even need a gun as you likely won't your entire life and that's a great thing.
Where does it leave me? I 'feel' better with at least 10.

And no, don't carry a baton. Unless you are professionally trained in using it, and even then, it's likely to be viewed as lethal force when you use it, it's limited to arms reach, and it's larger and heavier than a spare mag or OC.
OC/pepper spray is pretty much completely separate from a firearm. Or a baton. Or a knife. Those things are going to pretty much be lethal force. OC is not. OC is, totally serious, a lower level of force than shoving somebody. Literally, pushing them is a higher level of force than OC. And that makes sense. Think about it. People have been shoved, fallen, hit their head, or whatever, serious bodily harm. OC isn't seen that way. Now, check your state and local laws etc etc, but, OC is a very low level of force. It's force absolute, but it's low. That makes it a completely different tool than the others, and really opens up your options.
Remember that the vast majority of assaults are not lethal force, do not involve serious bodily harm, and do not justify lethal force in defense.
Despite what some idiots have said in here, you can't just shoot people because they pushed you. But you could OC them (unless specifically prohibited in your area)

I'm not sure I can imagine pulling up on a guy holding a baby and pointing his gun at the baby and within basically seconds of arriving, you're making a likely-headshot on the dude holding the baby...just 0-Mach 5 in a minute probably from getting that call (seems dense urban area, second officer, probably wasn't far away after getting call)_
