I just finished a batch of wine, bottled and corked 36 last Saturday. It’s a fruit moscato, tastes pretty good too.
Working on labels right now. Only pic I have currently is when I measured the specific gravity before bottling.
I build LT and LS motors for fun also.

I am learning how too cook lentil soup because I just received some packages of uncooked lentils for free.
I am also learning to ignore politics for the most part unless I feel like visiting the R/P subforum.
I'd appreciate it very much if people will keep all political nonsense there, so this thread isn't really very appreciated by me.

Lentil soup isn't gonna be started for at least a few days. I'm still learning.
I also got a lot of scrap wood recently so I've been making basic swords with it. Someone stole my tribute to William Wallace recently from the front yard, but it's OK cuz I can make dozens more. I whittle them down and/or use a belt sander to round off the edges so if some stupid kid steals it they won't hurt anyone.
I have sampled every language and French is my favorite to curse in.

I appreciate the idea behind this thread and I may have been a bit too critical I just don't even want to hear the P-word right now.
I built a big raised bed to grow my own food.
I am also going to remove the grass in a section of the backyard and grow as much corn as possible. It was about the best yield of all the crops I planted. My peppers didn't do that great, but my Tomatoes were pretty good. I was able to clone something like 11 from 4 different varieties.
Last season I had 11 decent corn stalks and was able to save about 450 seeds from about 1/3 of a single ear of corn, so I'm gonna see if I can get like 50 or so stalks this season. I think I should start in the next month or two.
In the raised bed my Kale, Collard greens, Swiss Chard, Salad greens, and Baby Carrots are doing pretty well. The Roma Tomatoes and Cherry Tomatoes even survived from last season and are doing OK but not producing very well right now. I've been trying to clone them with mixed results so far but as it warms up it should get better.
I may have missed the boat on Brassicas: Broccoli, Cauliflower, etc but I may try to get some in for a last ditch effort.
My Cantaloupe grew OK but I think I planted too late. I got 1 nice sized one which was delicious and I was able save a good amount of seed. I don't think it was planted in the best spot. The Watermelon started out OK but fizxzled out unfortunately, same deal as the Cantaloupe, not a great spot. I also lost the Avocado tree during a heatwave. It might have made it if I shaded it somehow.
Zone 10a so we don't really get a frost usually. In this climate you can pretty much grow something year round.

My Cantaloupe grew OK but I think I planted too late. I got 1 nice sized one which was delicious and I was able save a good amount of seed. I don't think it was planted in the best spot. The Watermelon started out OK but fizxzled out unfortunately, same deal as the Cantaloupe, not a great spot. I also lost the Avocado tree during a heatwave. It might have made it if I shaded it somehow.
Zone 10a so we don't really get a frost usually. In this climate you can pretty much grow something year round.
