Totally agree. Wit the CCIV spread, my max potential was $22k, with a max exposure of $3k. With the clock ticking, I started feeling anxious and like this was more akin to gambling, and I didn't like that, so got out. I can't allow myself to go down that path or to get to the point where all of this just becomes "numbers on the screen, so what's 3k?" ya know?
Nice. Glad to hear you're killing it. I have a couple things that need to expire or close in RH, then I'm thinking I'm going to get away from them and transfer everything into Fidelity. I'll have to reload some after that GME fiasco too.

I have a RH account I opened just for a handful of stocks to set and forget about forever-ish (mostly novelty shares to give as gifts for birthdays or events etc like DIS, AAPL, and JWN (bought those at $11.5 lol)), and I really want to move them out, but I refuse to pay RH a single fukking cent, let alone $75, to transfer them... I'm also not wanting to sell and rebuy. fuark.

My exact dilemma. I don't want to sell and buy back and get raked over the coals in taxes, but I also don't want to give RH $75 for fukking us over, regardless of whether a new broker is willing to cover the fee.

Can't comment on books, but a couple YT channels I really like:

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCfM...P1tKShQ/videos- very detail oriented videos, with little fluff. Literally draws stuff out for examples and really paint the picture

https://www.youtube.com/c/KamikazeCash/videos- This guy posts way too much, but his informative videos are stellar. Look for specific strategy based videos and enjoy.

I have this strong urge to buy some 1/12 $10P.

Today GME went from $92 to $55. 40% drop.

Was thinking this. It would have to be one day flip. In case GME falls apart after hours today.

I was reading yesterday that February is not exactly bullish month historically.

So maybe cooling off bit from any buying is not bad idea.
I’m down 28% on my AMD calls as well. Will see how it goes tomorrow, but it looks like I’ll have to take the loss.

(Reuters) - Snap Inc, owner of popular photo-messaging app Snapchat, on Thursday beat analysts' estimates for both user growth and revenue as the coronavirus pandemic prompted more people to use the app to connect with friends.

Daily active users (DAUs), a metric watched by investors and advertisers, rose 22% year-over-year to 265 million in the fourth quarter ended Dec. 31. Analysts had expected 258 million, according to IBES data from Refinitiv.

The app made the biggest gains in regions outside North America and Europe, with 55% growth in daily active users.

Revenue, which Snap generates mainly from ad sales, grew 62% to $911 million, easily beating Wall Street's consensus estimate of $857.4 million.

Advertisers have been drawn to Snap's large base of young users, and the company has invested in developing features that appeal to brands including Snap Map, which lets users find local businesses near them.

"As the global health crisis is addressed and the world begins to reopen, we see opportunities to help strengthen the bonds of the Snapchat community all over the world," said Snap Chief Executive Evan Spiegel in remarks prepared for release before an earnings call with analysts.

Snap's net loss narrowed to $113 million, or 8 cents per share, from $240.7 million, or 17 cents per share, a year earlier.

The company forecast first-quarter daily active users to grow 20% from the prior-year period to 275 million, and revenue to be between $720 million to $740 million.

Snap said Apple Inc's planned privacy changes, which will ask iPhone users to consent to personalized ads, could present a "risk" to advertiser demand, but added it was unclear how the changes could affect Snap's business in the long-run.

The premium you receive when you sold the call is added to your cash balance. The premium you pay to buy to close that call is subtracted from your cash balance.

Im selling on 4 tickers that I post on Monday morning after I trade. I sell mostly weeklies and 10% -15% OTM. If I want to own more, I sell near the money puts. My call strikes are usually 20 delta but sometimes as high as 30 or 40 for puts I wouldnt mind getting assigned. I usually shoot for percentage rather than delta though because I rationalize what I would be comfortable selling or buying at - Greeks dont care how much you win or lose.

Determine your risk tolerance first and work from there.

TSLA
3/19
$900cc @ $22.99 premium x2
$1000cc @ $22.94 premium x2
$900csp @ $100 premium x2

OPC for reference: http://opcalc.com/nuf

Max profit potential is $29k @ $900 expiry price.
I am going to be fairly conservative with this one, at least that's the plan for now, and will most likely aim to close at 50%.
Already messed with this... Closed out the $1kcc that I had been deep red on since December lol. It went green today, and figured might as well close it out. I see a lot of upward movement coming, not necessarily to 1k, but I would like to open another CC at a better premium. Also feels good to not have to worry about that. If it hits 1k, I will have nearly quadrupled my tsla investment, and REALLY don't want to pay cap gains on that lol. I am still aiming for a 50% of initial max profit, will just have to be a wee bit more aggressive unless I open another CC.

With my tiny portfolio I'm up 11k in one month and its been consistently like this for the past 3ish months...Each month gaining around 10k so between all my investments I've doubled my money almost exactly in 3 months. When the fuk will the correction happen? I got all these weed stocks I've been bag holding for years and now they finally poppin off so hard its making me question my own existence since I've been in most of the other solid winners as well.

Long term holding FTMFW!!!!!!!!

Reps for screenshots and who else held the weed stocks through the mess?
