Read some comments on the snow shoveling murders and miscers making comments about

How they think the neighbors are probably happier now which got me to wondering

When you guys go to buy or rent a house do you get out and go knick on the neighbors door to meet them and introduce yourself to try and get a vibe about what tyle of ppl they are.

A good friend of mine bought his first home and i recomended to him at the tine he might want ro do that. And he declined. Well once paper work is done money changes hands. He owns his first house. And he wss pleased with him self as he should have been

Not even a week or 2 later i start getting calls and text fromf him telling me he has the red neck neighbors from her . they worked on cars all through out the a.m hours 2 3 4 5 in the morning. Reviving up thr engines as loud as theh could go. Squealing tires as they left their drive way.

This went on for like a whole year.he went over and tried ti explain the situation. How he has to sleep for work and he haf complants3 from other neighbirs as well.. Nothing changed.

I fkrgdt how it got resolvd but they ended up moving after about 2 years. I always recomend going and knocking on doors and try and get s first impression

That was the prime reason I bought a house with no neighbours dead srs.

I recommend considering the neighbours to friends that are thinking of buying a semi-detached.

In the south.

I have one neighbor across the street.

Once I started building he came over to me. One of the best people I have ever met in my life, and extremely grateful to know him.

People make or break experiences. It's the same with work. Good job + schit toxic humans = horrible work experience.

True dat. You can pick your nose but you can't pick your neighbors.

I had a friend buy a house in a pretty good area, houses around $275,00-$500,000 range, so it's nice but not rich rich you know. He ended up having neighbors on one side not keeping up their house or yard and the other having some meth heads. Always some kind of domestic thing going on over there. It probably lasted about 2 years, still the same people but it settled down a bit.

I’m able to get along with all sorts of people from different walks of life without being an *******. So don’t think I have to worry about this. Would definitely not shovel my yard and throw it on the neighbors yard lmao that’s just asking for it. Seems like the type of thing that only happens in liberal city utopias.

Didn’t watch video.

Well after you've moved in its a bit to late to check on who your neighbours are, no? You kind've just have to hope they're alright.

I did this accidentally once, I was thinking of buying a house near a public venue that is active during the summer.

I knocked on a neighbor's door to ask him about how loud it was and how traffic affected living there when stuff was going on at the venue. The dude answered, and was out of his mind. Talking about suing the venue over their cell towers, and if there was ever a problem with my house, he believed my utilities ran under his driveway and not in the public easement, and swore he would never let me access them.

I decided there were other houses out there for me.

Why do you need to make a new thread to be the center of attention? Why not quote the comments in the actual thread and address them?

Its 2021. Not 2020. Not 2012. Not 2001. Not 1989. Its 2021. If your neighbors are doing things to harass you they are likely doing it on purpose. If you politely tell them hey I have to wake up for work at 6 am and when you slam your car doors 15 times+ all night and rev your engines and scream at each other outside my window, it keeps me awake. They will know it bothers you. So one of a few things will happen

1. They say they will stop but they dont and keep doing it anyway.
2. They know it bothers you now and will get even more annoying and ramp it up to making fake complaints to the cops about you and use other tactics to make your life miserable every single day like slow torture.
3. They get pissed off and start a fight with you for telling them to quiet down. Odds are they "know somebody" and you get your tires slashed or bullets through your house in the middle of the night or they get violent right then and there.
4. They are reasonable people and try to quiet down. (Odds are any reasonable person would be considerate of others and not be doing those things in the first place so that is a very unlikely outcome)

There are people in this world that are soulless zombie meat puppet energy vampires that do things intentionally to fuk with you and to create feelings of negative energy because they feed off of it. You can see it in their eyes. They get excited and it gets them off to cause negative energy and they feed off of it.

You should be able to tell just from walking around the neighborhood what kind of people your neighbors will be

Believe it or not, but methheads and redneck enginecels houses tend to look a certain way

Yeah its not hard to identify those who take care of their property and belonging versus someone who doesnt. When I look for places to rent I always make sure to drive by at night and see what sort of rif-raf comes out, ive seen places that seem nice during the day but at night they can be sorta ghetto.
