I haven't tried it yet. But SSM12 has.
Nice. I had a Parfum sample which still has quite some juice. It's very potent as one spray does the job. it's very elegant.

I'm sure it's been said within 294 pages and you all are practically the Oracles of fragrance, but zaharoff offers free samples. Got mine in two weeks. Came in today it's actually nice. In a world where nothing is free, that's pretty cool.

Can we add links to the OP for all the good places? I can really only remember fragrancebuy.ca when i go looking. And i know chartreuseNinja always has like 5 sites to look at and goes "what a *******, xxxx site has that for half the price you bought it" when people post frags.

SO found a sample of Black Orchid lying around, must have been 10+ years also.. can confirm it's pretty good but wouldn't wear myself, wife loved it tho. Incense/church smells are her thing.

Spicebomb has a peppery opening (pink pepper and cinnamon in the mid) with a similar dry down to TV but weaker. I heard that spicebomb has been reformulated so i would look for a vintage bottle or just go for spicebomb extreme. Another scent to look into is Serge Lutens Chergui which is a great tobacco scent in my opinion.

They are different. Tobacco Vanille is a pretty aggressive fragrance, has kind of a camphorous, medicinal mothball note. Or Intemporel is a lot smoother and richer, with nutmeg and cardamom. Cardamom is the main note in La Nuit de L'Homme, for reference.

They have similarities, but are very different.

I would suggest getting samples of anything before making a full bottle purchase, unless it's cheap enough that you'll have no regrets if you don't like it. You can get Or Intemporel 1888 samples on eBay, if not from a fragrance distributor.

I own the original. Love it. Have yet to sample the new parfum in teh gold bottle though. Was curious about this.

SOTM: Gucci Guilty Absolute. found me a backup 5oz bottle of dis bish. I previously i only had a 30ml and left it in my trunk for a couple of months last summer and it lost of its potency. They can discontinue it for all i care and im goochie!

Also got a bottle of Elixr. This extrait def leans heavily in the fem category compared to the lighter essense de parfum. Gonna give this to my sis, and stick with the body lotion.
