To be fair I can believe it.

Fundamentalist Text Christians, as in only taking in Old Genesis / New Testament, and ignoring all the bullchit that the churches made up after. There's surprisingly very few rules. Premarital sex isn't really mentioned in the Bible directly. The Bible is pretty much against Homero sex and animal sex. And there's loopholes like you probably can't adultery with a Christian woman but a non-Christian 'married' woman is free game That's why Muslim men (as Quran is similar) bang bitches throughout Europe and technically don't break rules.


But parts of the Bible like Matthew are telling people to rip their eyes out if they see THOTs. So that alone makes you question the validity of the Bible in general. If every dude in Ancient Levant ripped their eye out it would had led to societal collapse after mass deaths from infections.

That whole passage kind of references the fact I think you shouldnt put yourself in a position to be committing adultery or other unbiblical acts and thus putting yourself in a negative position for divine judgement when the time comes. Mind over matter lol

I remember doing some research on this whole passage some time ago because a lot of people in churches seem to misinterpret or take Matthew 5:28 literally but not realizing there was the context of adultry/infedility behind it.

Re/ pre-marital sex ive heard stories that the act of sex itself is a bonding mechanism spiritually thus "merging" the two souls as one without the need of a former ritual. Cant say thats a fact though but it strongly lends itself to the story of adam/eve one man one woman creative intent vs animalistic sex.
