I understand what you're saying regarding dodge coin

but I have to say, blockchain is a technology, it has its place but it's not exactly life changing. People think it'll solve everything (it wont)

It's another technology (tool), like AI, machine learning, big data, etc. It's the holy grail (if u take the emotion out of it)

Aussie brah checking in

**** day in the market today, not surprising though given we hit an 11-month high yesterday. I focused mainly on buying big bank and mining stocks last year during the dip which have returned pretty well. Earning reports out this week but seems like the big banks/miners like BHP will increase their dividend payments.

More speculative plays I'm In - PEN - uranium mining company based in USA. One of only 2 uranium producers in the states so stands to benefit from the US under Biden trying to shift away from reliance on oil.
OSH is another that I'm long on. Was trading around $8-9 prior to covid, now sitting at $4 but I'd expect as the world slowly starts increasing its demand for oil again they should benefit.

Also we get ****ing shafted compared to Americans with our stock brokers. SelfWealth is the best I can find but they charge $10 per transaction (buying and selling). And if you want to buy USA stocks they take 0.60% of whatever you are covering from $AUD to $USD plus $10 usd to buy and sell. **** sucks.

90% of the bags are green but how do you deal with the FOMO? I'm seeing OCUGEN jump up hundreds of % and I'm sitting at a poverty 10-15% with most stonks not sure what to jump onto next with the profits. Every biotech, cloud & green energy, heck - even mining papers have been run up hundreds if not thousands of percent.

True, the same way Wal-Mart and cable TV still exists, centralized internet littered with advertisements and security breaches will still exist.

blockchain won't replace the current way, but it'll mog tf out of it.

Ability to trade it OTC markets would be nice too but self wealth doesn't allow it and I think commsec you have to call up to put in a buy order. What broker site do you use?

Galindo posted some thoughts on it recently . . . if this site's search wasn't pure trash, I could find it. I'll look. I think he was high (no pun intended) on TLRY.

Someone else posted math here earlier saying the merger favors aphroa holders. But everywhere I've read says this is not true. And when the merger was announced aphria went down because people saw this.
