I would buy a Green Mountain if I went with a pellet.

I have a few options. Weber Kettle, Ugly drum smoker I built myself, an electric Masterbuilt smoker, and a Weber gas grill.

Have the drum smoker ready on the drive way for ribs in about an hour.

I still have one I got in 2000 back when they were still made in Portland. They're made in China now. They're pretty decent for certain things but I use my Weber more than anything.

Its a Genesis I think. Gas grill. Good for searing steaks and for grilling stuff up real quick. The treager is great for hamburgers and chicken. I also have a Roccbox that I need try cooking a steak in but they're made for pizzas and they're small.

Weber Summit here. Used to own a Genesis. So much easier than messing with pellets and babysitting that crap.

If you are using charcoal, aren't you babysitting?

With the traeger, I set it and forget it.

I have a big green egg. I love it and use it 1-3 times a week. Sucks cause my wife doesn’t like “Smoky flavor” makes me rage when I make some amazing food on it and she says “this ones too Smoky”. So now I just use it for my food and just toss her a steak of chicken on a pan for 10 mins in the kitchen lol.

Wtf is it with females and “that’s too smoky, I don’t like the Smoky” happened my whole life growing up with my mom and sister (no pics)

Pellet grills are awesome but there’s plenty around for 1/4 the price of Traeger that do the same thing
