I cannot fathom, what's wrong with people using those meal replacement soy-shakes. Even if you are dieting down, it would be 10-times harder to keep your diet if you don't eat at all.
I can kinda understand people, who are so stressed, they do not have time to eat, but that would probably mean other issues like terrible time-management or an unsustainable workload.
Anyways what are your experiences with those "soyboys"?
Are they all vegan?
Did they actually look like those stereotypical nerds the misc loves to post?
What were their other hobbies, interests personality traits?
Were they really successful?
Are they just people with serious eating disorders?
Maybe miscers, who are lowkey soydrink users?
Is the stereotype true?

I've met plenty. Pre-Covid our office was littered with these things. I think there's a certain type who appreciates the concept of utilitarian nutrition, and SV startup bros are the type. Most would drink these for breakfast and lunch then order in whatever for dinner and I can appreciate the commitment to rigidity to allow for delayed flexibility. Yes successful, no not vegan. Can't really speak to personality traits, but they were all perfectly pleasant to work with.
