The cynic in me says that's what people were saying years ago when TLRY's price shot up to like $300. Then it dumped. But I guess with libs in government and progressive decriminalisation likely to happen there are good signs. I bought APHA at open today fwiw. Will prob look to ride this wave then buy again when it inevitably dips

Lol at all the stops that got taken out during the dump on CTYX 15 mins before the close, only to close at session highs at 0.20. Should see 0.28 soon.

Last 30 min of trading for CTYX had some crazy jumps. Saw it down to .165 at one point

Who was that that brought up CGC earlier? It’s a rarely mentioned good one too along with TLRY, APHA and SNDL.

I am DCAing at these levels, looks like we won't see below 0.15 anymore so I started adding

More speculative plays I'm In - PEN - uranium mining company based in USA. One of only 2 uranium producers in the states so stands to benefit from the US under Biden trying to shift away from reliance on oil.
OSH is another that I'm long on. Was trading around $8-9 prior to covid, now sitting at $4 but I'd expect as the world slowly starts increasing its demand for oil again they should benefit.

Also we get ****ing shafted compared to Americans with our stock brokers. SelfWealth is the best I can find but they charge $10 per transaction (buying and selling). And if you want to buy USA stocks they take 0.60% of whatever you are covering from $AUD to $USD plus $10 usd to buy and sell. **** sucks.
Thanks for the knowledge brah srs!

During the dip I actually bought in Vanguard ETS (vas and vgs) and both have returned nicely. They're not back at pre-covid rates yet so I believe there is still room for growth.

I steer away from big banks stocks as I don't think they have big rooms for growth. I learned this from motely fool podcast (check it out..auss specific).

I will look up PEN & OHS cheers.

The ones I'm taking risks on are: Sydney airport , OpenPay, and Tesserent. Sydney airport is at an all time low now, so im hoping it bounce back in 24 months once the chit storm clears (but I actually don't know much how they make money).

Openpay is another buy now pay later, I believe they're more B2B. They recently expanded to US and UK, but for some reason their stock didn't catch up. I don't think they'll be the next Afterpay but I'm hoping they get acquired and gain value.

Tesserent (tnt asx), is a cyber security company (consulting). This was recommended to me by someone who knows a lot more about investment than me and he was an early investor (with a group). I read about them and they've done couple of new acquisition and seem to be doing well. I haven't made a single cent though , the stock price hasn't moved in any meaningful way since I bought, but I will hold long term

As for trading, I use Nabtrade, they charge like 14$ per trade, which is fine by me I guess. Haven't started international trading but I applied to start

BNPL was the last great gig on the asx, the rest is slow and steady or even sideways gains. Every now and then a good mineral penny play pops up on twitter tho ie CRO, PLY or the odd IPO which you can access through onmarket.com.au and keep tabs on using ipowatch.com.au

CPE & CPEV? According to cassar and I guess Destor who seems to be killing oil & gas.

I'm also looking to put cash somewhere but seeing everything at ATH makes me uneasy
Thanks for the tip brah. I applied for an international trading account through nabtrade, I want to start in the US. missed out on so many good stuff ffs.

Miring you holding Afterpay, wish I knew about it. Any thought about Openpay ? it's BNPL. What do you think of holding Sydney airport & new zealand airport? hoping they climb up once covid chit is over in 24 months

I really hope WSB aren't pumping Tilray and APHA, last thing I want these things to be is another pump and dump. CGC is probably the healthiest MJ stock.

Entire NYPD should go on strike. You'll see then how quickly the mayor changes his tone.

TLRY and APHA both up around 16% AH. Not seeing much on wsb though so don't know where ll this exuberance is coming from. TLRY being heavily shorted maybe? And APHA going along with it b/c of the future merger

Holy chit, got in super late, bought 50 at $42.70AH and now it's almost at $49.

Too bad I'm to poverty to afford more. Oh well, such is life as an old not-boomer who had kids young.

TLRY and APHA merging, TLRY getting huge contract in uk for medical marijuana. Weed become accepted all over the world.

Last time TLRY was shorted it went to 300, I think it has a chance to do it again if wsb gets a hold of it. Might be a good long term play if medical marijuana actually gets accepted.

If weed ever gets legalized in the US those stocks are gonna moon so hard it won’t even be funny. $500

Might even buy a couple thousand sndl. And I don’t even smoke pot.

Fuark wish Prime was here to explain the recent RVVTF filing. From the stocktwits page, ppl are not happy. They're saying that the trial results will be delayed a couple months. Though its possible they're reading it wrong
