people like the Foo Fighters because it's cool to do so...nobody actually likes them, they just pretend too. They have only one good song and it's played on the radio 1,000 times a day on the same station.

Nickelback overall sucks, but they have some decent songs.

Yeah they are both radio rock. I'm guessing Foo Fighters gets more of a pass because they did it first and Dave Grohl has more clout with his history.

I feel like Foo Fighters are a much edgier band that doesn't really make music for Karens to bump in their minivans.

I mostly agree with you OP, but I think FF is a much better version of NB, even though I'm not particularly fond of either. NB is like knockoff FF, even though FF is already generic af.

When I think of foo fighters I think of their first and second albums. I have no idea what they’ve done since then but I consider them to be a different genre from nickleback all together.

Same. Never been much of a fan of Foo Fighters. Although I have to say I really like their new song Shame Shame. Nickelback is just fun music. Seen them live and they put on a pretty good show.

Agreed, but I've heard that the dudes in both bands are cool. Local rock/classic rock station has a no Nickelback, no Creed policy so that should say something about Nickelback...
