What do you guys think about the Zastava M70? I want an AK. I cant find a wood furniture one. It has quad rails and a folding stock. I can grab it for $1k.

Do i buy?

I like the traditional wood more but this doesn't look bad. I'm also worried about the import ban.

I got my wood from PSA, worth every penny. Gives me wood just looking at it.

Okay brahs I'm torn. What do I spend $1300 on, consider Biden?

(Another) AR with a 14.5" BCM build, or a TRP operator with full rail?

just got my bcm ambi charging handle delivered to replace my old non-ambi bcm ch from several years ago.

I havent installed it yet, but first impressions are kinda meh. I might return it

I didn't know this until now, but they released new models out couple years ago. complete redsign in the latch system

on my old one, i could engage the latch with my finger, on this new one, it's actually pretty hard to have the ambi side even move the latch. Granted, it's not installed yet, so maybe when on the gun, the pulling angles will be different, but still find it odd. what i wanted was that buttery smooth release to just rip and rack it back. Seems i might have to muscle it

The other thing is I had a medium latch last time and its perfect, the medium on this new model seems to be way smaller. like the medium is now what the normal or small was, and a large might be what the medium used to be

Any of you have experience with the "new" bcm ambi's?

No but if you’re not left handed why bother ?

I am left handed and still use the left side, just got used to it. Left handed bolt actions charge from the left side too so it works for me.

If you havent held/shot a railed 1911 do that first. IMO a full rail makes the gun front heavy and ruins some of the perfect ergos of the 1911.

tomato tomato

I started holding it the commonly recommended way and found recoil to be far less. Give it a try if you haven't already.
