My covered strangle on RIOT is doing pretty good

Bought 100 shares for $31
Sold 3/19 30p for $680
Sold 3/19 40c for $540

Underwater on the 40c but total gain right now is +930, might roll call forward to June for another grand in premium same strike

Still holding my APHA..... I don't think I can sell it without run up to merger/legalization news, there's also that safety blanket of arbitrage opportunity to TLRY share price which currently would have APHA shares valued at $38 after merger (Yes I know TLRY could move down to meet APHA but that's still a $17 gap as of right now).


It ran up crazy, this dip at opening only put it back to 10:30am numbers from Tuesday lol

paperhands, its still not too late to get into ctyx, they have a team of people that all worked for multi billion pharma companies and the stock has only 60 mil mcap right now even at 0.17, its a hidden gem, I am accumulating at these levels

I worked with an older dude who turned $50k into $1.5million unrealized on Aurora back when cannabis stonks first went ham. But I don’t think he sold anything at the top, greed got him

O&G finally getting a bit more love. Except Suncor, which is looking like a steal at current prices. Time to do some cash flow forecasting and risk planning

Anyone look into NAKD. Used to trade over 100s a year back. Only 1.90 today. Was 1.14ish a few days back.

A lot of volume on it

Any stocks breaching meme status or talked about too much online are going to see high volatility and more prone to emotional type betting based on nothing.

There's so much unknown about how it's going to be regulated in the US, will it see legalization at the federal level, can these Canadian company's even export to the US etc. In school, we learned about taking into account govt regulation when it comes to a company's ability to grow and many other factors that are both within the company's control and out of the company's control.

IMO it's one of the riskier investments you can be in. But with that, there could be a huge reward...I'm not touching those stocks personally.

Is MSOS the play if you want a low risk way to be involved? ETF for US cannabis companies.

I sold APHA Feb 12 20 CC earlier in the week. It wasn't fun watching the stock going all the way to 30 yesterday and I have to sell it at 20 at expiration. So I don't mind this drop at all.
