Thought it was great. A lot of people hated that it isn't straight accurate science but those are the same people who would never pick up an astronomy book anyways so who cares what they think.

If nothing else it's worth just for the score. Hans Zimmer is god tier.

very flawed movie but definitely worth a watch. have always appreciated how ambitious it was, there aren't many movies that are on a scale like this. falls apart in the last act and gets ridiculous/needlessly sentimental, but definitely still watch it.

I'm fond of that move too but I everytime she talks I put the volume up a few notches. Ends up far too loud for me in the end but its worth it.

Ideally the format to watch it in is IMAX. But probably not possible for some time.

If you like SCI-FI, astronomy, good cinematography, hans zimmer, and good acting, it's definitely worth your time.

I think a lot of people that like it are the types that post “yeah ****ing science” **** on ********. I thought it was mediocre. Mediocre plot and execution. My boy Matty was good tho.

To me, the soundtrack gave the movie its drama and power more so than the plot.
