I don't see a problem if it's legit hate speech, but we all know libs call absolutely everything they disagree with hate speech so I'm sure it will be a joke, I don't use any social media and never have personally.

Let's just hope we're at the end of the neo lib pendulum

Well imo hate speech doesn’t exist. That’s the point of freedom of speech is that it protects controversial speech not normal speech. Speech is speech even if it’s “mean”.

That's a good point, I see the good in not allowing people to be subjected to racial slurs and what not, but then we'd need a definitive list of no no words, but of course libs prefer the "up to discretion/interpretation" method. I pray there's a meaningfull backlash soon

that's the inherent problem, whoever is in charge gets to dictate what "hate speech" means and picks and chooses what is and isn't based on arbitrary criteria. would be great if this would come full circle to the people who advocate for this type of stuff though. hate speech can mean anything so it means nothing in this day and age.

A week or two ago I saw a black former (trash) UFC fighter jawin back and forth with people, going off calling them "snow roaches" and talking about "white fragility." I was genuinely curious what would happen if I reported a comment like that. The result? "We found that this post does not violate community guidelines"
