However considering the way he played for most of his career he always seemed like the one who would burn out first yet he still looks in great shape for someone turning 35 in June. There was a time 4-5 years ago where he looked done and he's gone on to win another 6 slams. This is his worst tournament for some reason but I still think he's got enough time left to win it.

I think Thiem is winning this one. Kinda in the shadow of Djokovic and Nadal but he really had a great season.
Also exited for Pavic/Mektic doubles next year.

New season is here. Predictions?

Predictions idk mayne.
I'm expecting the current trends to continue. Younger players will keep taking bigger slices of the cake but the big boys aint done yet.
I'm mostly excited for Jannik Sinner. Guy has been exciting to follow for the last few years and I was impressed AF with his performance at RG last year. Dude is real.
Hoping Medvedev can keep a good form and find an extra gear to compete more at slams. Couldnt care less about Thiem, tsitsipas and zverev.

Rafa on this year's AO courts: "It's the fastest AO I've ever played in my career. No doubt about it. I'd never played AO in such fast conditions."
Dammit Roger. Why did you have to care about your family?

Djokovic is truly the biggest douche in tennis. Dude acts like he can't walk for 2 sets vs Fritz and is bouncing around fresh as a daisy in the 5th. Then before Raonic dude is saying how he didn't practice and didn't know an hour before if he would play. During the match always playing up the injury especially in the 2nd set when he lost, then bounces back like nothing is wrong.

raonic is a ridiculously easy match up for him anwyay. The h2h is like 12-0 now.
Djokovic can exploit raonic BH all day
Hopefully zverev can do something since THiem is out. I doubt either Felix or Dimitrov would be difficult for him in the SF. In a final I'd give Medvedev a bigger chance than Nadal.

Then the Ultronians wonder why their man is hated across the board.
The dude has a long list of chit that ticks people off.
In other news, Rafa reports his back is improved, he should put the Frog away in straight sets, although I would not be surprised if it goes to 4.
Vamos!

Both of them got their fraud injuries in early to take some pressure off and have gift wrapped excuses in case of an upset. I genuinely have no idea how you gentlemen can follow tennis year in year out and act like it's the first time you've seen it.

And it's not just Nadal fans. Lego Man hair is currently living rent free in The Hunchback's spacious empty dome. That's right Nick. On the verge of winning his 9th title in your home slam he has no reason to acknowledge your mere existence. You've won nothing. You could have saved that celebration for beating him but then as usual you couldn't make it that far.

Comparing Djokovic's miraculous recovery to Nadal's legit injuries is asinine at best.
When Nadal gets injured in a match he usually does lose and you can see an actual decline in his performance.
But, haters gon hate I guess.

Then again in the words of his uncle: "Rafael is not a tennis player, he is an injured person who plays tennis."
Novak's routine didn't trigger me because I knew it was coming. With all the disruptions to their training, lack of a crowd, etc. they're both going to use every trick in the book.
