DFW: 3 Degrees Fahrenheit and No Lights or Heat
Sitting in my car warming it up. Wondering if I should leave my faucets dripping or try to turn off the water.
Thought I would try to find a hotel with power. Just heard the guys on a local station say they are only on the air because they got a generator up and running.

Definitely drip your faucets. Busted pipes are no joke and if there's no heat to your house, there's nothing to prevent them from freezing

Remember, extremities are the first to go. Be sure to put wrap bed comforters around those feet of yours.

I’ve been through enough hurricanes and I know not having a generator sucks ass. Got rid of the 7k portable for a whole home standby a couple years ago. I’m spoiled, lol. No running all those dam extension cords through the house.

Was a brisk 55 here in LA this morning, so I know how you feel. Almost though about wearing a long sleeve shirt for my morning jog.

"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

I love this for you.
In all srsness, stay safe. Why doesn’t Dallas own a few salt trucks for emergencies? It does snow there every few years. I think it’d be a wise investment. Unlike, say, Phoenix where they’d never be used.
