I had a 10ml sample of Aventus and it is smoother than CDNIM, but IMO still not worth it and I have received compliments from CDNIM. I doubt anyone who isn't a cologneophile could tell.

As mentioned Virgin Island Water is better and my personal fave is Silver Mountain Water

A clone will do a good job, but it never fully hits the same. My boy had Aventus Creed and dropped the bottle, thought it was all good and put it in his locker. Next morning there was actually a small crack and it was leaking everywhere, nuked out the whole room.

Thanks for linking us.... three members of the misc cologne crew for years who collectively own hundreds of bottles.... to the Creed Aventus fragrantica page. We surely have never heard of this before.

Say what you want, if I wore CDNIM and walked past you, you would have no clue if I was wearing the clone or the original. You know this is the truth. By that virtue alone I would say it is very close.
