A srs questions to miscers. No matter where you are now in your life now.when
You look back on your life no matter what age you are. When and where were you the most happiness?

I don’t think I’ve ever been ‘happy’ really. There’s always something or another to overcome and always bullish!t to deal wth.

Middle school, still hung out with friends and everything seemed awesome without needing drugs/alcohol/women involved and was still dumb enough to optimistic for the future

Skateboarding during the late 80's. University life was pretty rad. And honestly every time I go fishing and you get those days of perfect weather combined with the fish being on fire feels like life doesn't get any better than that.

I dunno about "happiest" as it was not a particularly good situation. But a carefree, liberating time I guess was when I started at a very relaxed college when I was 17. We only had 14 or so hours of lessons a week. I paid no rent, didn't work, just played video games, looked at late 90s/early 2000s low-res porn, ate alot and watched movies. I would often just bunk off and come home and look at porn whilst eating chocolate. I had just left a strict boarding school with horrible people. So I felt elated at my new life style of freedom.
I guess the last time I was genuinely happy was a 2.5 week family holiday to NZ in early 2001. I was too focused on the sights and sounds to worry about my worldly troubles and all the evil and injustice in the world.
I can't recall being happy since that holiday.

Happiest for me is when I’m with my girl and we’re acting like kids just goofin around making each other laugh hysterically. There’s nothing better. Every girl before this was for meaningless sex. And the chase was fun some times and exciting but most of the time was too fake and annoying for me

Probably Junior year of college. I reclaimed my life and straightened myself out in terms of my performance in school, got my first job, and was single just enjoying the friendships/learning and lack of responsibilities outside of those things.
I'd say I was sometimes even happier Freshman year of college probably actually, even less responsibilities and cared rather little about school so was just super happy and having lots of fun every day. But I was a virgin at this time so had some awkward scenarios/encounters too, regrets, sloppy memories, etc.

After college I fked off and disregarded everything. Bounced around from country to country working easy jobs for a few months at a time, living cheap, chasing chicks. Aged 24-27. I knew this would be a period in my life I would always remember fondly. Unbounded freedom. Zero responsibility. Sometimes it sucked ass, but even the hard parts were beautiful. RIP

Probably like 8-16. Lots of friends, no responsibilities, and girls were somewhat interested in me. Now im older, and can go wherever or do whatever with little responsibilities, but friends are all busy or have gone their separate ways, and I probably havent had a date since i was maybe 19-20 and im 27 now. The last basically 11 years have had their good and bad but they will never compare to teenage love. Im slowly turning into a bitter and jaded old man. feelsbadman

Tough to judge. I look back and without question miss my senior year of high school/first year of college the most and get so much nostalgia from that time period. But that's me judging from my pieced together memories from almost 20 years ago. I honestly don't remember how I felt or how happy I was actually going through it though. That's the problem with "the good ol' days". You don't realize it until they're gone.
So that being said, I've had some bouts of depression, and some awesome feelings of elation, just like most others. But my overall happiness hasn't changed much as life went on.

theres no such thing as happiness .... theres not happy and it has ranges.... basically everyone is
-1 not happy, then sh!t hits the fan and you become
-2 not happy , now at -2 not happy you think of how things were on -1 and youd think damn i was happy when you werent , you were just less not happy
-3 not happy hits, and you start thinking, sh!t i miss my -1 not happy and -2 not happy .... i was so happy then... but in reality you werent....
-n and so on , more sh!tty things keep happening and thats were you adapt , your brain and your body get used to the slap after slap after slap and you learn how to become more tolerant, more patient...... just like a kick to the balls , you suck it up and keep moving

I had a lot of fun and good relationships with a lot of people in college. Things are tougher these days with Covid lockdowns etc but I still manage to be pretty happy with a few extracurricular activities
