Oh god I just threw up in my mouth a bit. When I was drinking *way* too much in my 20s, that was my go-to brand.

The extreme weather that forced power outages from North Dakota to Texas on Tuesday triggered a bout of the usual finger-pointing about the causes. But it could also deliver a boost to President Joe Biden’s efforts to upgrade infrastructure, counter climate change and expand the reach of renewable energy.

As millions of Texans shivered in the dark, supporters of the fossil fuel industries turned their ire on the state’s massive — and frozen — wind farms

That’s what I hate most about our current state of affairs. I don’t want to be indoctrinated by anyone, almost impossible to know what’s fact anymore. Depending the source you read the stories are wildly different. No one reports facts, it’s all spin and agenda driven.

Wait for the new 4runners to come out and see what they are like. The new Broncos are cool. I know there’s 2 different versions. The Sport one is out now but there’s a bigger more offroady one. Not sure when those are available. Haven’t paid a ton of attention.

I want a new truck because I hate this GM 8-speed transmission and the Rancho shocks. The tranny is the roughest shifting slippy tranny I’ve ever had and the Rancho shocks make every bump feel like you are hitting a 3’ deep pothole.

I’m waiting for the new Tundra to come out.

New Broncos looked teets at the stealership when I had my daughter's Escape in for a new water pump. I'm always leery of first year models of anything, though. And I don't buy brand new vehicles.

But . . . if I fell into a tidy sum unexpectedly, would be tempting.

Meh, brother has one, fun to shoot once or twice then nah. First time I shot it the ******* put in deer slugs so it kicked me hard in the ribs. I'd go cheap on a Maverick 88 (made by Mossberg, a cheaper 500) or another similar one for half the price then you can add a grip like that if you like. If it was cheaper then sure, but not for over $500. Maverick 88 from Big 5, pre panic though, was ~$250 on sale after tax/fees.

Currently have this on my Maverick.

If you want to shoot it, get a stock for it too. Pretty cheap last time I checked.

If you just want it for protection and not shoot it often as-is, it's a good choice.

I love my 500. Such a great shotgun.
