Not sure how stock brehs feel about crypto or mining, and I'm definitely not anyone to take financial advice from, but I will mention an observation for anyone considering playing the crypto angle from the stock market side.


HBVTF mainly mines ethereum and their stock has remained mostly flat while ethereum price has absolutely skyrocketed in recent months.

I bought in at 3.65 on Tuesday and will be buying more tomorrow. 22% gains today alone. MC is currently 1.3B, which is next to nothing. Yoog room for growth.
Your schtick sucks and it screams insecurity.

The part about ROE has been fascinating for me to go down the rabbit hole on. I'm finding that the only stonks I feel good about when I sleep at night are part of the 20% ROE class. (NVDA and SQ, mainly)

ROE forces a company to prove itself before you buy it.

Obviously tech stonks have MASSIVE gains in revenue before they ever have a postive ROE. Maybe in that way it's kind of obsolete for finding a 100-bagger, or even a 10-bagger. My takeaway is that you can know what stocks will be best positioned, and least volatile in a downturn.

The book gives you a perspective to buy chit that you only see massive potential in. Don't buy some junk that might double. I even think a 10-bagger is the ultimate goal.

I've logged a couple 3+ baggers, and SQ is currently a 7-bagger on my first purchase of shares.

I'll probably never log a 100, but that's ok

Where should my next $10k go into? If Gold doesnt drop to ~$1500 I likely won't buy.

Ive been buying up BABA/JD/Tencent/TMO, basically anything Chinese/Asia since November.

Well every single time there is a market tank day, Robinhood also crashes, so there is that. You won't be able to sell when you want, kind of a big deal.

Picked up 45k more shares of XMET on the dips the past couple days. Sitting at 125k now. Court date to officially terminate the custodianship and completely turn it over to Wei Tan for the merger is March 19th but still could happen before that.

I loaded up 200,000 shares as a YOLO.

I can't find much info other than pieces of court documents like you mentioned, is this just pure speculation that our Wei Tan homie is doing something with it? People betting on the next CCIV kinda thing?

I bought 41k today. will do the same tomorrow if it’s still around this range when I wake up. Funny I had $5 in my account, fidelity doesn’t charge for OTC, figured why not and bought 454 more shares

Yeah, Riot and Mara are both related to BTC's success. If BTC goes down they both do as well I believe. This BTC bull run is really catapulting these 2 stocks. Sad I couldn't jump on the train because all my money is tied up atm.

You can't buy OTC in a tfsa or rrsp but you should be able to in a cash account.

Nothing is confirmed until the reverse merger actually happens but essentially yeah it's basically a SPAC like CCIV. The difference is, CCIV was formed as a SPAC from the getgo, whereas XMET is a ticker from a now defunct company and the ticker was bought by Wei Tan for $220k and (presumably) is being primed by David Lazar for Wei Tan to reverse merge XMET into a yet to be named company, switch the ticker to the new company, etc. It's a quicker way for new companies to get listed on the stock market as opposed to dealing with the IPO process which can be a pain in the ass.

Not sure if you saw my post with the full DD on it, all the information is here. David Lazar has a great track record doing this:

Well most companies that are listed as OTC, as I understand it (I'm still very new to this) are companies that either have low market cap, nothing going on, etc.

So XMET (as in the actual company) XXStream or whatever, the defunct music streaming site, basically was a scam company. I think that valuation is probably left over from XXStream and that was probably a fraudulent valuation, but I don't know. That 100M certainly doesn't have anything to do with whatever Wei Tan plans on doing with the ticker, because right now we don't know what company they're planning to reverse merge with.

Assuming that it's a good company, like TSNP got with HUMBL, they'll hopefully have a good run up and be able to get uplisted to NASDAQ and out of OTC status. But these questions might be better fit for the stocktwits page where there are more knowledgeable people on this subject.
