Early Times Bourbon is my go to ~$25 bottle...very good imo

Also, as stated already, Basil Hayden's is a good budget option as well

Monkey Shoulder is the budget scotch option...always have a bottle

Jefferson Ocean is very, very good too but I think the ocean angle drives the price a little too high.

It's supposedly the leftover's from a number of very well know distilleries. I don't know if that's what accounts for the variability between bottlings, but I've had some that were fine and some that were very good.

wild turkey is one of the first bourbons besides jack daniels that I ever drank as a teenager. Went camping with my buddy and his dad and he popped into the liquor store on our way there but said nothing. As he got back to the car, he pulled the bottle out of the brown paper bag, a sly schit-eating grin smeared on his face, and said "boys, this will put some fuking hair on your chests."

Was a good night. Purchased it multiple times after that for parties.

Nowadays, I rarely drink bourbon. If I do, it's maybe once a year and it's just a glass of better stuff I get as a gift.
*Look at reflection in car window and flex every time crew*
*Use half the roll to wipe after a poo crew*
*Fart in the gym and blame rotten smell on faulty ventilation crew*
*Fart at home and blame it on the dog crew*
*Watch neutron-star density poop mock me as water flushes around it and it stays put crew*
*Drive 2 minutes in the summer and back of shirt gets completely wet crew*
*Coffee black as midnight on a moonless night crew*
*Fat shame my cat on a daily basis crew*

WT 101 is god awful unless its buried in a mixer. It has a ****e flavor and is only good for trying to get wasted.

For the same price you can buy Bulleit, Dickel Rye, Jim Beam Black, Knob Creek, Maker's Mark, Larceny.

For $3 more you can buy Evan William's Single Barrel which is very solid

True I have heard that, that not every bottle is the same...but I wasn't big on the bottle I bought, so it was a one and done for me
