Have you been supporting 'black-owned businesses'?

When George Floyd died it seemed like a lot of companies are now double advertising for black owned businesses, basically giving them their own category and their own spotlight.

Have you been supporting black owned businesses even more since?

No. I'm not racist, so I don't seek them out, nor do I differentiate between businesses based on the color of their owners skin.

How many pairs you buying boyo? If they are quality you only really need 2. 1 16oz for bag training and 1 8-12oz for sparring/fighting.

Unless you are a gear-whore and have to have a pair to match all your different thai shorts lulz

Also seems like are intentionally trying to find a way to mention you train kickboxing in a completely unrelated thread

Hey did I mention I train kick boxing? That's both boxing with my hands AND kicking with my feet I'll have you know. I bet you don't even know the proper way to pronounce it is "keek bzzzxing", you'd know if you were a true pro.

Mostly because I think these threads are super silly so I just throw something in I'm doing and wait you're sparring in 8-12oz gloves? Damn son that's some unneeded damage right there.

Also Yokkao dropped some great styles so I replaced my stuff.

One of my favorite bars is black owned but I patronize the place due to its chill vibe and good food and not because some dumb lib told me to do so out of fear of being labeled a racist. If I didn't support a certain business before BLM I sure as hell wouldn't now just because it's on some list. My money, my choice.

I have a difficult time differentiating black-owned businesses or more female war criminals or more black drone operators snark. It just seems like another weak call to give people another way to sublimate their consumption habits into a political identity. Much easier to buy a dumb scrunchie and call it a day than actually grappling with, say, mass incarceration or some other outrageous murica dumbfukery.

That said, I adimttedly spent about 3 seconds pontificating over the politics of switching from Uncle Funky's Daughter (srsly) to Innersense, the whitest brand on the planet and my curls have never been happier. Coconut just makes my hair break :/ Cancel me now.
