I spent a week backpacking around Scandinavia by myself. Best experience of my life. I mostly kept to myself but chatted with a few people. I think a week was as long as I could go though as even though I'm very introverted I was starting to get lonely at the end.

I don’t know if I’d do it for short trips but for long trips to other countries 100% solo travel is the way to go

Like others have said, Solo is even better than traveling with a group.

With groups, especially tight friends, everyone is pulling the trip in different fuking directions.

Did a few Euro trips solo I would recommend. I’d like to hit some Eastern Euro countries, maybe Asia and a lil South American tour

OP, i m from the north east. (actually just bought a home down south this month) Just so you know, when your plane lands at JFK or LGA airport there are going to be communist from the DPH standing somewhere near the terminal ensuring that you fill out a bunch of paper work and mandating that you quaratine for up to 10 days unless you get a covid test. have fun otherwise. Crime is high in NYC so becareful (ded fkn Srs)

Nothing wrong with it at all. I’d do it more often if I wasn’t scared of flying, but I’ve done many domestic trips solo and had a great time.
