Right? Trump's first debate "performance" did 10000x more harm to him than any "mail-in ballots" or (fake) "voter fraud" ever could do.

Incredible. The level of profound idiocy seen in American politicians is unrivaled. Really. We are the laughing stock of the world.

It's not just the lack of knowledge, but the way he so confidently bullchits. So many of our politicians do this. They are just such idiots talking out of their asses.

Bill Clinton is neither a good person nor is he cerebral. Yet, he was one of the sharper tools in our political shed. And that should speak volumes about our society. And we haven't really had a cerebral president since James Garfield, who discovered this cool proof of the Pythagorean Theorem.

And in fact, it is very hard to be a good person and a politician. Go ask Tulsi Gabbard.

Dumb is rarely the right word to describe anyone.

Trump is a marketing/branding genius; always did well monetizing the branding of his properties.

Trump is probably the best con man in the history of the United States; started out magnificently conning lenders to fund his property schemes such that he could walk when they (frequently) failed.
- Conned the derping American TV audience that he'd been a successful businessman.
- Conned the derping right-wing voting block that he gave a phuk about America, values, or phuking anything, really.

He's one of the mostnon-intellectualPresident's in history though; basically doesn't know a phkng thing about anything, and doesn't care.

That's one of the main reasons why he was such a failure as POTUS. That and he didn't give a phuk about America.

I mean Singapore's prime minister was senior wrangler at Cambridge. And Angela Merkel of Germany holds a doctorate in quantum chemistry. It's just that we are a nation of idiots. And idiots elect representatives who are representative of idiocy.

Taiwan's VP was an epidemiologist. Look what he did to fight covid and look at their result.

The US' VP was an evolution denying bible thumper. He did this.

The results speak for themselves, boyos.

This is false. There have been many people who worked in the white house and cabinet that have gone on record saying bush was extremely well informed in meetings and understood the complex subject surprisingly well and was always reading and studying the subjects in depth. srs look it up. many have stated he was very intelligent and there were consequences to showing up to meeting informed or unable to answers hard questions that bush would quickly dig into.

a better example is probably reagan. known to not really pay attention in his briefings, didn't really read, wasn't intellectually engaged (apparently would reside early to the living quarters of the white house to watch a random old hollywood movie in the evenings srs rather than read briefing documents). his staff had to sort of dumb everything down for him. reagan was not intellectual giant (but he was a 10/10 communicator/figurehead). His troika of staffers to include geniuses like James Baker (and to some extent Nancy Reagan) really ran the country.

Again, Trump is not "dumb" any more than is your auto mechanic, whose formal education ended at HS but is masterful at figuring out and fixing the chit out of your car.

Further, the not formally educated mechanic may have chosen to learn the phuk out of many other subjects - maybe music, carpentry, history, who can know ?

However what we DO know about Trump is that the craft he mastered isconningpeople and lying; lenders, voters, fake charity, TV audiences, fake university, general constant fraud.

Trump is similar to the mechanic in lacking formal education, because he only pretended to go to the college that his dad paid to get him into. Then he mastered only his craft of con, and we can clearly tell that he made no effort whatsoever to phkn learn anything cerebral......like world history.

It's as astounding that anyone would be phkn stupid enough to elect the ignorant con man POTUS as it would be to see people elect an auto mechanic. Truly sad.

He promoted distrust of science. He created deep divisions in this country. He promoted his personal business interests despite prohibitions against doing that. He put his needs above everyone else despite taking the oath to faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States and to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution. And he diminished America’s standing in the eyes of the rest of the world.

None of this is true though. Trump has plenty of faults but criticizing him using lies just gives the impression that he's so great you have no legitimate basis for criticism

LOL. Every single word of that is true.

Trump thought he could just lie to the country and create a false reality; "Hey look at my HUUGE inauguration !!" "Hey, look at this great success with North Korea !!!!"

id say the current guy is the dumbest.
Its not that Biden's not bright, he's just old and most likely has an early onset of dementia.

If you watched any of his older speeches from the late 80's-90's he was pretty damn sharp. Same with Ron Paul. Once you reach a certain age, cognition (reaction time/coming up with good defenses during debates/ formulating impromptu responses to unexpected questions) just slow down.
