Fidelity is a boomer site and won't let me sell CSP on margin unless I'm like level 5 option, and I think I'm level 2

I don't see a clear path to profit by holding cash and selling CSP. Seems like I would be effectively sitting out of the market, and relying only on premiums.

If there is one, please lemme know or provide something I can read

I use Fidelity, just keep applying and moving up options levels. I just got level 5 options.

I closed out a bunch of CSP this morning that were for 3/19, total profit $5000. I still have several open. You dont have to fully sit out of the market, I have some long positoins, covered calls, SPACs, and CSP.

$228,000 right now, I have had level 4 since around $80k, got level 5 at 190k. They just denied me for portfolio margin though fukn bitches

Tradtional thetagang is 45 dte(date to expiration), 30 delta, and BTC(buy to close) at 50% profit. I don't always do that and don't really look at the delta, just sell what looks good with good premiums. Right now I have CRSR, IPOF, BIGC, AFRM, NIO, RKT, UWMC

Might close Nio today for small loss

Yep those are things I've heard as far as 45 DTE and .3 delta. I need to do more research and see if people usually BTC, or if they hold till expiration.
