Might buy weeklies for TSLA if I think I can catch a dead cat bounce today or even later into the week.

Might buy long OTM calls for SPACs that haven't announced like IPOF potentially.

SOLD:

500 CVII for 10.80-10.82 to raise cash to buy dips--- Didn't want to sell positions I believed in and this one isn't going to have an announcement for a long time. Bought this at 10.68
300 CRHC @$10.90
MAACW 500 @1.90

Got $20k now to mess around with before dipping into margin.

I mean I expect a pretty solid sell off in the broad equities markets, however it won’t be something that doesn’t get bought up again this year. I’m not touching my vanguard account and have about 15-20ish % of it in cash, the rest is all tied up. I’ll be buying the dip. I’m not one to invest in these SPAC and WSB meme stocks or think they’ll ever reach the targets that site is spewing.
If you want, just protect yourself with covered calls.
Usually there’s some sort of bounce at the open, but idk. If you’re up a lot, just take your profits and wait to buy in cheaper.

Bitcoin is likely to keep crashing though. Don’t buy that for the next couple months at least.

Yo, lil homies... I forget how young some of you are.

Calm down, it's pre market, yeah I'm seeing some warning blips about inflation, but the fact that we'rehearing about itand notseeing itis a good sign.

Here's what's up, yes equities and certain parts of the market are very richly valued. All it takes is a bit of negative news, especially macro, to send shakes in the system. This is one reason why I personally am very comfortable being outside of broad based etfs.

But, that doesn't mean a crash is coming, but it does mean we may see some more attractive valuations. I wouldn't be highly leveraged or buying options on most tech and high fliers. The boomer stocks are probably safeish places to store cash right now, but they'll get hit hard as well if the broader market sells off, just not at the magnitude of momentum stocks. Facts are stimulus is coming, interest rates remain low, dicks are hard and pussy is wet, it's still time to fukk with the markets.

So, calm the fukk down. I've never seen people pay so much attention to after/pre market hour trading, it's largely noise. If you aren't fukking positioned to be able to take advantage of a market downturn then wtf are you thinking? You should be invested but in a manner that both protects from and takes advantage of a market downturn.

Would LOVE to see Palantir hit $20 this week and that's after loading up at $29.99 yesterday. Wire hitting later this week and 100% straight into 1.25x margin PLTR equity. Let's see this bish at $18 by Friday.

A day may come
When the courage of men fails
When we forsake our fellow hodlers and break all bonds of fellowship
BUT IT IS NOT THIS DAY
An hour of RED and margin called accounts
When the premarket come crashing down
BUT IT IS NOT THIS DAY
THIS DAY WE HODL

Week or so ago I said something was off with Tesla, someone was trying reverse gamma squeeze and well it sure seems to happening here.

tech sector sell off is popping everywhere. I think Tesla set this off.

this really might be that super cycle event to energy / materials

Lots of bad news for tech.

1. bonds hike
2. tech monopolies at risk of getting broken up
3. Tesla pullback was imminent anyway, but Musk kinda upped it by buying a bunch of bitcoin

Srs tho what happens to bond funds when rates get hiked? They all lose a fukton of value no? Suddenly all older bonds are worth significantly less as new bonds with better rates are preferred right?

Interest rate discussion set it off. TSLA is just the primary symptom. Interest rates will usually hit the highest fliers first.

Most of the money was going into stock market as bond market was terrible.

If they keep rising you will have money going back to bonds. 10 year yield is approaching 1.4 percent.

This will cause the dollar to rise.

Also Tesla is now seen as tie to Bitcoin so Elon really did genius move associating it. They are moving together.

Those posters from last night that were saying energy and materials are getting rotated into.

What JPMorgen and Goldman are saying could be right.

Energy sold off hard due to covid probably oversold.

Now when you look at price of crude its already 2019 level.

Supply might not be able to keep up with demand by summer if Covid is gone.

You could have oil back to $80+ barrel which will bring massive profits to those oil companies.

Metals prices (mining) is all insanely priced.

But what I am wondering is what happens to bond funds that hold bonds with low interest rates already...they get wrecked right?

Also not too late to buy into TGA. If oil gets back to $80/barrel this stock could legit hit $8-10. It is hovering around $1.40 currently.

Probably. Will see what JPow says this morning. If he mentions yield control than shiit will really take off. This is all looking like inflation expectations. Even though CPI is not moving yet.

I know what I am doing this weekend lol.

Looking for oil stocks / materials / mining.

Nah its not even close to late.

Most of us clearly got way too heavy into tech stocks.
