Top off with tonic water
2 dashes of orange bitters

Yeah, I had used distilled in the first few batches, been playing with boiled tap water which has worked well. Was getting some “shrinkage” with regular tap water.

So far the clearest batches has been distilled and boiled tap.

I like Fevertree tonic water. It’s available locally in most markets. I have been debating buying top tier Q brand.

I had a g/t in Japan that was incredible. He used Japanese gin, couldn’t tell the brand, barspoon of maraschino, Q tonic water, orange bitters.
