They are getting hit by chip shortage.

It will eventually come out. Tesla just not saying anything right now.

Every single car manufacturer is having issues.

Think Tesla buys the base boards from TSM as well.

I'd love for Musk to announce they are doing some crazy retool at their factory 1st week of march and it goes to the moon

my gut is saying to buy NVDA leaps around $570-600 they are cheap now.

since NVDA has had analyst price targets between $600-700 since September last year

but these damn yields could cause pull back in tech sector.

gonna sleep on it.

Depends on. Sometimes I close mine out when I've got a few weeks left and I already collected 60% of the premium. Sometimes I just wait for expiration.

down another $25k. fukkin rad...

I'm going to go with my gut again, and just not touch a fukkin thing (unless hella green) until after next week...

I've been in meetings for the past 4 hours, so not even sure wtf has been happening, but as soon as the GME chit started up again I immediately "market gonna bleed hard" and sure as chit.

nvm down $43k between trading and IRA.

All I can do is wait... Not gonna sell/close anything for a loss. This is my current exposure:

ARK-F/G/Q/W (don't know if I will sell calls tbh, might just keep)

LULU (sold out of my original position around the time of the first GME madness because I saw this chit coming. I am not against holding this, because I do believe it will hit $400 EoY)

PLTR (for sure going to wheel. Too many shares, plus I already have a good amount in my IRA, and premiums are decent enough to keep me interested)

TSLA (sold out my original position this week, just didn't get back in at the low. I will wheel this though, as I have some further out CSP's with very aggressive strikes because the entry prices would be desirable even with what's going on. Damn it, now that I think about it, this one has a $720c/p strangle, I might close it out if I can break even, which would be $668).

RKT(This isn't getting assigned almost bummed because they just announced a special 1 time $1.11 dividend lol)

I’m in ARKG & F

I think ARKG will do well. It’s actually my biggest holding.

Yeah it’s fukkin ugly... I’m already in ARKK, and was recently up20%... oof lol.

I’m confident in all of them, and it’s just $60k-ish worth of holdings between the entire ARK offerings, but it’s gonna suck seeing a collective -15% or so on 5 holdings lol.

this morning RKT opened 20.35 and was up to 20.98 in few minutes.

volume was already half of total daily volume in 1 hour of trading.

its cooled off now and trading at its usual flat 20.
Imagine this filled. lmao.

Before close those 23C were as low as 0.10$

RKT is actually doing something after great earnings and dividend.

RKT CEO is making rounds on CNBC/yahoo/bloomberg today.

lol yup. Also, Jay Farner is really good about making the rounds, but he usually just says the same thing each time from quarter to quarter, and it never makes a difference. TBH I was expecting a higher floor because they are finally ACTING upon something instead of talking about it like they previously have. Still have $19.5 3/5 CSPs open that will ride through expiration just in case of assignment and can get dat dere dividend

I rolled out half of my PLTR puts (again, I HATE rolling) so I am a little more at peace with that move... a little.

My TSLA strangle is still looking wonky, and a lot can happen over the next week, so not committing to anything yet.

Outside of PLTR and TSLA, nothing else expiring until 3/19. I am going to try desperately hard to not touch anything else until the market gets its chit together. Easier said than done lol

If you put any weight on indicators and T&A, then I think the ichimoku cloud says it pretty clearly. Stuck right in the cloud right now and IMO will trade like its stuck in mud until it breaks out.

I haven't spent one second with TA aside from laughing at people drawing with crayons on them. Would love it if you wanted to share more info, or if it's as clear cut as "stuck" then that's cool too lol.

It would be nice if it expired next week at ~$720. Then I have a May $760CSP to look forward to, and then a LEAP csp that currently sucks to look at.

Bought even more throughout the week. Currently holding:
DIA 12 Mar 280p, 31 Mar 246p, 16 Apr 240p
FB: Jun 18 105p
IWM: 17 Sep 85p
QQQ: 12 Mar 275p, 16 Apr 165p, 16 Apr 269p
SPY: 18 Jun 150p

Clearly not expecting these price targets by then, but I figure they were mostly low risk, premium wise, and I can sell them within the next two weeks.

But srsly, I keep hearing what a chit show it is, like even worse than when I left the last official one. Too many casuals and too much *******ry. And let me make this clear when I say “casuals,” I am in no way talking chit, because everyone starts somewhere and some time. But when newbies come in talking like they actually have a clue, don’t want to actually LEARN, and just want to be a part of the cringe meme scene, that’s when I just head out.

I’m curious how many people have disappeared actually since the recentcorrectionlol.

Depends on how he conducts his trades. If you go on discords like eagle investors, some of them average like 30% gains in a day.

He was asking me for advice the past month or so and after I spoke with him yesterday, he was saying he wanted to go the CC route. Said he didn't want to deal with the ups and downs of naked options. I'm just curious, tbh. I had thought about that strategy when I first discovered CCs, but realized I wasn't patient enough to just sit there and wait a month for expiry before cashing out.

Personally I don't like the idea because of the possibility of a stock mooning within that month's time period.
Just curious as to why someone worth millions would only put 100K into the greatest bull run of our generation, homeboy should park 500K into SWBK.U and send me 10% of his profits in 6 months.

He went big into real estate last year and said that's where the bulk of his focus is right now. He also has money in crypto. What he told me about real estate was pretty eye opening.. he urged me to get into it big time and just quit my job once I got the ball rolling. Told me his latest deal was closing in the range of $1MM.. not all profit I'm betting but still.

Makes me wonder, wtf did I go to school for if I could just quit my job and flip houses the rest of my life. Don't even know if I'd appreciate the money if I did that, knowing it doesn't really require any education.

I'm just guessing at his net worth, but I'm assuming he's only putting $100k in the market because he's risk averse. He has two daughters, one of which has special needs and is married, and her husband doesn't have a job, just helps her dad with his business. His other daughter is starting residency. So he supports his wife, his two daughters, and his son in law, therefore I'm assuming he would rather take more risks with real estate rather than the stock market.

To me it sounds like a nice strategy for someone his age, he doesn't have the luxury of taking huge risks in the market like us younger folks.

Edit: It could've been a lie, because I pressed him for the dollar figure. Not because I wanted to gauge his liquidity but because I wanted to get an idea of how much money he could generate from CCs based off his investment.
Nice, that definitely sounds like the life I'm jelly. Would love to quit the 7:30-4 Mon to Fri grind. I don't think I'm savvy enough for real estate, could see myself getting rekt haha.

When you talk to someone successful its always yeah so I did this and that and I am rich its just that easy.

I know someone that used to sell dog food for living that lived below his means to buy duplexs to rent out. He was the electrician/plumber/handyman everything in beginning. He moved from duplex to houses close to university. Started renting out to foreign students.

Realized there was great need to build rental building close to university.

Found few investors and they ended up building 8 floor building. Those investors got great return, it started to snowball from there.

15 years later owns 25 buildings (between condos and apartments to rent)

He has money coming out of ass, I can't event guess probably $50+ million net worth. He bought old Ferrari F1 car to put as display in his house just cause he can.
