[srs] Chest is extremely tight (sternum?), how to fix? [srs]
I've noticed for the past year that my chest has been pretty tight lately.
Sometimes I can pop / crack it after a hot shower or if I look at the sky and cough loudly (no COVID). Then it fixes it temporarily.
But I think it may be getting worse.
Is there any advice to fix this.

Try googling sternum stretches and try a daily routine for a few weeks to see if that helps
You better not ignore this, you might develop tietze syndrome which will basically make you not be able to train pressing movements for a long, long time
I don't really know if there is a correlation though between tight chest/sternum and developing tietze syndrome so don't quote me

I can also pop my sternum by sort of twisting to relieve pressure
I try not to think about it because it gives me some anxiety when I try to pop it and can’t lmao
I don’t think it’s a serious issue and have never had trouble with pressing movements over the years

Probably do this once or twice a day.

I feel muscles in back tightening when I do this.
