This video says some nuts may decrease testosterone?
Should i stop eating peanuts and almonds because they are high in polyunsaturated fats that rises SHBG (sex hormone binding globulin) which binds free testosterone. Do you eat peanuts, almonds or other nuts, if so, why or why not? Pine nuts and peanuts are also high in polyunsaturated fats. Even walnuts are high in polyunsaturated fats, also flaxseeds and sunflower seeds.

A typical serving of nuts is 30g, 1oz.
That means a serving has roughly 5g polyunsaturated or 45kcal.
RDI is up to 10% of of calories. So ranging from 180 to 400 kcal for males. In the scheme of things that 45kcal does **** all.
Furthermore the study you watched found only 1 in 70 men experienced adverse test from higher level of polyunsaturated in their diet. Not a doctor but I assume it probably functions like asparagus, some people will have an enzyme that breaks it down or something or an intolerance like coeliacs.
You're majoring in the stuff that barely matters and falling for youtube BS.

Just about every food you can think of is on one of these chit lists:
"lower testosterone"
"higher chance of cancer"
"increased rate of depression"
"bla bla bla"
The research behind these is really shaky at best. Even if true, there would be nothing left to eat

honestly the effect is probably so minimal it wont do ****. you probably eat 10 "testosterone boosting" foods a day and 10 that "decrease testosterone". dont worry about it. eat clean, get all your macros and micros and lift heavy

Why do you guys care so much about something that can lower your test? There’s a synthetic version of it
Losers let it happen, winners make it happen.

[QUOTE=rootcon post_id=1632633033]high free test is correlated with hair loss
see the bottom paragraph

actually, it says that a high ratio of free test to total test is correlated with balness. Not high free test, itself. FWIW

It would suck to start taking synthetic testosterone to attract the opposite sex and not even be able to get it up but I'm sure there's all kinds of cope out there about how you can minimize the side affects
