Don't have time to watch, but I think Trump called attention to a problem that had been lurking for a long time but had been swept under the rug, even promoted by other administrations. Our politicians had been selling us out for decades. What Trump did, was all he could do in the short time he was there. When something has been going on for decades and you come in and try to stop it with as much opposition as he had, it's a real feat that he got done as much as he did. I'd say the democrats have pandered to China more now to spite Trump. You have to remember the Party of Slavery once burnt down it's own side in a civil war rather than lose their slaves proving they will destroy the country for their elites and to keep theirs in power.

What Trump did, you can compare it to the Vietnam war. (conflict). The communist planned to take over all of SE Asia, just one country at a time. We spent 12 years and never really accomplished defeating them, and South Vietnam fell three years after we finally pulled out. Some say we lost, however, war isn't a game, it's a series of objectives. The war cost us over 50K lives, and lots of casulties, and was it worth it, it's hard to say because we don't know what would have been if we didn't, but that's where their advancement stopped. What people don't see is the fact that it never really hurt the US financially or economically, didn't cost us any real resources. However it cost the USSR and China economically and cost the VC millions of lives. To this day, North and South Vietnam are divided although one nation. Even though they stayed communist there was a war between China and Vietnam afterwards because China felt they owned them for the efforts in the war, and Vietnam whooped their ass in a conventional war. So there was infighting within allies. So in a way we accomplished an objective that was more signiciant. Today, Vietnam sides with the US, so go figure.
