I watch "My 600lb life" as pre gym motivation. Just seeing these fat blobs cry about how hard they have it and how it's everyone else's fault, but theirs pisses me off. Staying fit makes me so happy. It's insane the lack of willpower and self control the majority of people lack.

It's called ephedrine and it was regulated already.

And that's not including the fat-burning benefits on riding bikes...

That exists in the form of a yellow supplement that used to be a weight loss drug back in the day but nooooo we can’t have it because a minority of people got cataracts and another tiny percentage of people died because they took way too much and overheated

Everyone's looking for the quick easy painless fix so that's what the diet industry's always peddled. The reality of losing fat is that you ARE going to be hungry at some points throughout the day and you're going to have to learn to deal with it if you want to lose weight.

You're literally trying to force your body to burn fat for fuel. Well that won't happen if you've got a constant supply of food for energy.

Yeah agreed, obviously. Weak or fat men are pathetic.
Currently not eating to un**** myself, and it works.
For me it started the moment I was allowed to watch TV while I eat as a child. Never let your kids pull out a smartphone or eat in front of PC. Distraction is first step to over eating.
Life would be a lot better if I didn't grow up overweight, less injuries and self esteem issues. Letting your kids be obese is absolutely child abuse

Ngl being hungry sucks major balls but if anything it's motivation to not let your weight get out of control to where you need to do it for a long period of time. In reality for most people maintaining a healthy weight is really just a matter of cutting out all the super calorie dense garbage and limiting the amount of eating out you do.

Ephedrine is nice, but I meant an OTC drug that people can take. When we get an FDA approved super potent fat burner people will go crazy. Can you Post Mate me some info about good bike shops you know?

fat people have no impact on your life. why do you give a fukk? if anything they make you stand out and look better.

and please don't spew the garbage about taxpayer dollars in healthcare costs - well so does smoking and drinking and yet nobody ever mentions that.
The problem is, we all agree with those other disorders should get the help they need.

With the obese, it is seen as "okay". Even if there are deep rooted issues, fat people are convinced being fat isn't an issue. Its also gotten as far as to be "celebrated". And if you say "hey, maybe you should figure out why you over eat" you are met with disdain and assumed to be fat shaming.

If you compare it to those other diseases(or however you choose to view those addictions), then you it implies being obese IS a problem and that they should seek help. Which, just like those other diseases, can come in many forms. Whether mental or clinical.

I get annoyed at ANY strain put on our NHS service by self-inflicted disease and sickness, be it due to obesity, smoking, drinking, drug-use etc.

I see these 300lb blobs and wonder how they even let themselves get to that state. It's not like it happened overnight.

You can buy Primatene or Bronkaid OTC, it is a controlled substance, which means they limit how much you can buy for 30 days. You have to show ID so they can track how much you have bought. They both have ephedrine in it. I like Primatene better because it is ephedrine HCL. Bronkaid is ephedrine sulfate. I forget why this matters, but Primatene seems to work better for me.

why is there so much irrational concern towards the health of fat people? it's just a bullchit excuse to be a jerk to fat people.

nobody gives a fukk if some guy drinks or smokes himself to death. god forbid somebody is fat though, it's the end of the world and the government will collapse.
Maybe in everyday, sure, I agree, it doesnt come up. But in the media, on tv, on social media etc, "fat acceptance" is borderlining on toxic in regards to it being "okay".

I have nothing against fat people. I was one. 5'9, 240 at my heaviest if not more. So I know what it takes to lose weight and get healthy and I know how much better I feel otherwise. Its on the INDIVIDUAL. But there are so many influencers and people in positions of influencing pushing the #loveyourbody movement to the point where its being misconstrued as "its healthy to be fat".

AND it has become an attack on being fit/thin. Obesetobeast has some great videos on the whole concept. I am not going to type everything out. But being proud of being fit/thin is now considered "fat shaming" which it isnt. The tide is turning to where being in shape and taking care of your self is often times seen as an attack against the "love yourself/body positivity" movement. And it isnt.

If you want to be fat, be fat. I say BE because I truly believe it is a choice. Whatever trigger or pre existing condition that one may have that LEADS to obesity or makes it hard to lose weight, can be overcome. With ANY addiction(I do believe food addiction is a real thing) you will have to work and seek help. If you don't want to? Thats on you. But to deflect responsibility, which is what a large(pun intended) portion of obese people do is ridiculous.

Same with drug addicts and alcoholics. If its a mental health thing, there are services for that. There is recovery. If its a therapy thing, you can get that too. If its an accountability thing, those options are available. I see just as many redeeming qualities in people who abuse substances as those whom are overweight, because in my eyes, you can improve and there are a ton of options out there. Its not easy and you will struggle, but the resources are there. The education is there. You just have to have that desire and THAT motivation is what isn't easy. Its a lot easier to just say "I am proud to be fat" instead of "I can't motivate myself to lose weight". I don't shame anyone. If you want to be fat? Thats fine. Be proud of your body, thats fine. But this whole body positive movement is teaching younger kids the wrong idea, IMO.

Do what you want to do, be whatever shape you want to be in. I dont care. But the ideals surrounding all of it are toxic, longterm, IMO, especially because of the echochamber it has created in establishments that have a huge influence over impressionable people.

I'm sure everyone reading this will agree... I have NEVER worked with a hard working fatty. Most, if not all would do the minimum required work to keep their job. Their mere existence burdened everyone else there because we must now pick up the slack. Aside from their pathetically disgusting figures... their laziness floods into every other aspect of their lives. I'd also bet most fatties keep disgusting homes as well.
