Even in 2nd and 3rd world countries, where people make $200 to $500 a month, I'm always shocked that just having an appetizer + entree + drink can still set me back $15. And I'm nowhere near a touristy street or tourist trap area.
Honestly I'm just shifting more and more to cooking everything at home. The pandemic kinda forced / encouraged this in me.

The company I work for sells a worldwide popular product, we have raised the price twice this year alone (5x in the past 5 years) and have decreased the product size 3 out of the last 5 years
And you plebs never notice.

agreed, you can go to a yard house or steak house and get a good, gourmet burger for like $12 so why would I spend $10 on a glorified fast food burger?

Jesus, Five guys is one of the only places I would get a burger at let alone spend the money to eat at seems like I was paying around 10$ or so for burgers and fries maybe 15$ but faurk not even worth it I make fries at home from scratch 10lb bag for like 2$ at local grocery store and hamburgers obviously one of the easiest things to make.

My favorite burger but once this crosses $10 will never eat there again. It’s around $18 now for a regular fry and regular drink. Don’t care how much money you make, this is absurd. Also think they made the patties smaller.
Also now asking for a tip when you run your credit card. LOL. Bathrooms are shut down, no hand sanitizer inside, no peanuts, no inside dining. 2 small tables outside. Windy as F.

2 burgers and regular fry was 25 bucks

GOAT Fast Food restaurant is Dick's
$3 for a special with their sauce, pickles, cheese and two patties.
GOAT flavor. Unbelievable how much flavor they can pack into what should be trash patty.
100x better than McDonald's for flavor, 50x better than Five Guys
