Literally the entire fate of today will hang in the balance of that job report which should be here in about an hour. After that, today should probably barcode and maybe slightly green. A ton of volume got moved around yesterday from panic sellers and maybe they are gone by now. A ton of people I imagine also got margin called. After that, monday should open high because the main headlines will be the stimulus bill going through the senate.
My 2 cents.

Tesla is starting to lose market share among US buyers of electric vehicles, and Ford's Mustang Mach-E appears to be the beneficiary.
Analysis by Morgan Stanley shows that Tesla's share of the US EV market fell to 69% in February, down from 81% a year ago.
Tesla's US sales are still climbing, according to this analysis, due to the increased appetite among US car buyers for electric vehicles. Morgan Stanley estimates that industrywide US EV sales rose 34% in February, compared to a year earlier, even as sales of traditional internal combustion engine vehicles fell by 5.4%, according to the analysis.
The new electric offerings from traditional automakers resulted in their combined US EV sales more than doubling to 9,527 vehicles. And Ford's Mach-E, which won SUV of the year honors this year and started deliveries in late January, accounted for 3,739 February sales, according to figures from Ford.
"Mach-E accounted for nearly 100% of the [Tesla] share loss," said Adam Jonas, Morgan Stanley's auto analyst, in a note earlier this week.

Welp, let's see what happens.
Edit: Which in turn pumped the 10-year treasury yield to 1.6%. Lmao bye bye
Employers added 379,000 jobs in February, adding fuel to renewed growth as the pandemic eases. The unemployment rate edged down to 6.2%.
Economists had expected U.S. employers to add a seasonally adjusted 210,000 jobs in February and the unemployment rate to hold at 6.3%, according to a Wall Street Journal survey.

A lot of folks are finding out recently how difficult it is to beat the market as opposed to simply investingin the market.I just bought because of momentum tbh because the market was retarded and everything went green. Right now i feel they are way oversold though
Im sitting on massive losses on XPEV. What oil & energy stocks u sitting on? Want to diversify a little i only have EV, tech & solar/green energy

I know you weren't asking me about energy stocks, but you could use an indexing principle to not try and guess at winners since we're kind of on about this strategy here. In fact, this is what I did and VDE has been my best performing holding for the last few weeks.

To put it into perspective, if one invested in Amazon in the late '90s, it would take them over a decade to recoup their initial investment due to the premium it was trading at during that time. A great question to ask oneself - if TSLA does indeed stand the test of time, and the stock is down from its highs for over a decade, would you still want to buy and hold it?

BC had to come up with foreigner 20 % tax to try and help
This has now escalated to Ontario (around TO) area.

Better job numbers + More stimulus + Closer to reopening = Stronger chance of overheating = Inflationary fears = Bonds dumping

Problem is that governments need to balance throttling real estate sales with allowing money to flow in, since that benefits people who already own property and people who develop property. Low prices are better for people coming into the market, but it's not good for anyone who already saw their house values skyrocket and now has huge chunks of their net worth tied up in their primary residence etc
I might have a $20-30 bull case for CVE at this rate, chit is powering above $10 just on the back of $60 WTI. Dividends still low af, haven't seen good quarterlies yet, feels like it could go a lot higher
