Yup. Worst thing anyone can do now is panic sell.

My tinfoil hat theory right now is this is a way for hedge funds and the elite to get the redditors and robinhood'ers out of their sandbox.

Many stocks have specific averages where if it passes it, its going to crash. TSLA's was 600. Appl's was 121. That's why as soon as TSLA hit 600, it was a good bet to buy some puts especially with current conditions. i sold my puts way too early. Coudve made around 25k instead of 3k...

Wheeeee QQQ puts to the moon!!!!!! I bought back into the ones I sold yesterday at the open this morning and sold when QQQ was at 298. Still have the remaining from yesterday's close, easy money.
Can't wait to see it at $275 so I can load up on $350 calls for September.

I might consider ARKK at $90 but idk... qqq is safer and not ran by Cathie Woods.

Also, this is now the singleton event I talked about weeks ago. We're gonna see lots of people proclaim it's the beginning of a bear market but that won't be the case. We'll be off to ATHs again soon enough. Just needs another week of violent selling.

Seems like the Fed can't do chit at this point. What are they going to do, keep pumping the bubble with more money? That's the reason why this is happening right now. No one believes they're going to be able to control inflation and won't raise rates soon. The markets are just pricing in the rate hikes at this point and the Fed's best plan of action is to let it run its course IMO. What they should've done from the beginning. We're now starting to see the consequences of all that BRRRRR over the past year.

Economy reopening should continue to increase demand and OPEC is keeping supply flat for the next month so I think we'll see oil continue to rise. There are some oil brahs ITT that might be able to chime in though.

I loaded up on calls on SU, CNQ and XLE last week and that's the only thing that's been keeping me green during this chitshow.

Also for gold I don't see how it can keep getting hammered with continuing inflation fears. Have a feeling it might rip in the near future so might as well start a position now

What's out there for O&G that still has some room to run? Seems like a lot of it is bounced back pretty far. CPE has been plowing, but maybe a little late to get in? Maybe BP or SU? Curious what folks are thinking here.

I have 200 XOM @ about $59 avg (initial buy was high before COVID) and picked up a little TGA recently, which has been a mutt so far.

I like SU. Still hasn't gone back to precovid prices. I have calls and shares. Also have TGA shares which haven't moved much so maybe that's a good opportunity.
