Ask a girl out or not... that is the question

I have chatted with this one girl on instagram and Im thinking of asking her out but I dont know should I bother or not. I know how they say you shouldnt instigate conversation with the girl yourself but you should see if she will text you first but idk should I just go for it or nah

This girl is some kind of a model and we had a pretty good chat I made her laugh a lot and told her how I remember seeing her few years ago and how beautiful she is so of course I wouldnt forget her

The tactics of letting them chase you etc etc only work if you actually don't care because you have other options on the go you're just as attracted to (or could easily get them).

In this case if she is responding to you I agree with the "strike while the iron is hot" mentality.

If she rejects you just take it in stride and don't get butthurt and hopefully she'll respect that you took your shot and no harm done.
