The big boys have had a strong run-up already, but MEG might have some more to go with it's smaller share price.
Two things I like about them:
1. Prime take-over target right now, I suspect they will be the next to go. Even if oil goes down, looking for some upside on the buy-out.
2. Like the others they've done substantial cost cutting and debt reduction. They still have more to go on the debt side of things but at $60 a barrel they're in the clear.
I can't seen oil staying at these prices short-mid term. We still have subdued demand and OPEC has a lot of supply idled still.

I don't know how so many people are so confident on severely overbought stocks continuing to go up. Seems like denial to me. But perhaps I am wrong and will be poor while they are drowning in their money.

but as others have said, it's the reddit robinhood investors who literally get stimmy money and pump it into tesla cos 'they like the stock' which is half what drove these crazy prices to where they are
and just as they blindly pumped money in, they'll not realise when they should be selling and/or buy more
sheer numbers of people outweigh those who make smart technical analysis, as we've seen in 2020

Our producers are gonna be in great spots even just @ $60 though, especially considering the differential between WTI and WCS seems to be staying at $11ish

i do think an extreme downturn is looming. but i dont think its possible that it'd come when people are literally being given free money

In theory...
If there was a legit full on true crash into a significant bear market that would be a turn off to the newbie 2021 Robinhooder masses just getting in and giving them a bad taste of the market (being impatient) and maybe they will want to quit the game in droves.
So do the big bois really hate the masses to the point where they would prefer to have a crash to get people away from their territory and scare us away.
Or on the other they could feed on us or maybe we aren’t significant enough?
What do you guys think based on reverse engineering the establishment

with the Robinhood investors and 9M strong on WSB, the hedges can just infinitely create pump and dumps like GME, RKT, APHA, BB, AMC, UMWC, etc
Citadel gets the orders from robinhood, so they know exactly what is happening. post some of their own DD on WSB and watch the frenzy happen
I'd imagine they want to keep the newbies in the game

The only option was to hold. What other choice you had.
If you're long than you stay long. Don't sell.
It sucks to enter when we might be going through some correction but its impossible to predict when is right time to enter.

so Robinhood is gonna list on Nasdaq with IPO.
wallstreetbets is salivating at the thought of shorting robinhood to ground.
however it feels like this is exactly what citadel and melvin want their chance to burn wsb for gme
its like the perfect trojan horse.

Even outside of the gains from actual trading, they are absolutely reveling in the increased retail trader activity and the fees collected from all of it. We are their customers, we are their revenue stream

Our producers are gonna be in great spots even just @ $60 though, especially considering the differential between WTI and WCS seems to be staying at $11ish

They've been calling for next run on commodities for the last few months and I've been shuffling my portfolio to that direction.
1. Lots of those companies pay strong dividends
2. Relatively stable share price
3. Inflation hedge in my portfolio.
4. Stimulus spending in infrastructure goes hand in hand with copper, iron, fuel, etc.
Imperial has done significant cap ex reductions and leaning out. At $60 a barrel we are a cash flow machine right now.....however we are not running at max rates at the refinery and our jet fuel production is ~30% of what it used to be. This tells me this run-up is shaky and will come down.
I'm a bit biased towards them as I work there and have a boatload of shares lol
