Every boy should be put into team sports. It will help them cope with competition, teamwork, leadership, etc stuff that actually matters in the real world. Schools teach you useless information like what some white slave owner did 200 years ago and how to be obedient little work drones. Sports teach young minds the reality of the world. To become a winner you have to use the fallen bodies of your foes as step ladders to your ultimate goal.

You don't need to be in sports to learn all that. You can do it through video games and chit. And he may also get injured. Its a complete waste of money if he's not on varsity.

But my point was sports is great if you get to play. If your that benchwarmer on the squad, just don't put in the effort.

did you read the book diamond age? His take on it was an interesting thing, the value that we want to instill into the next generation is ephemeral and needs to combine many qualities together with a focus around an affirmative yet subversive attitude toward the status quo.

Biggest one is to talk to them. Teach them. Communicate.

Otherwise it's just luck if they "figure things out".

Other than that you need to make social connections with other parents so that your kids can have friends and lots of social interaction early on. Not one off stuff.

Negative things would be doing a lot of isolated activities.

Team sports don't count for much. Lots of autists and socially awkward loser types are on team sports.
Most kids play team sports.

Social development occurs outside of team sports. Team sports just cements which kids "get it" and which don't. And it was already determined outside of team sports.

If I have sons, as soon as they hit puberty I will force them to take Aromatase Inhibitors and pump them full of Growth Hormone.

Estrogen is what signals the growth plates in bones to fuse thus preventing further height gains.

Growth hormone increases height and penis gains.

I will also socialize them with females at an early age.

And I would force them to learn combat sports.

A lot of Major Sergeant Cope going on in this thread.

Even the most gifted of offspring can be led astray and end up a dropkick. Poor parenting can doom even the brightest of young minds. Conversely a stout, robust upbringing can set one up for success — even if his or her genetics are subpar. The literature literally tells us how important environment is.
