Nah I've done daily snus for like a year+ and just decided to not order more one time it ran out. Supposedly that chit is just as addictive as smoking but I have no interest in smoking so I couldn't compare it myself.

I see.
I kinda want to try quitting on my own at first. maybe get a patch from the pharmacy
My second consultation with the doctor isn't until couple months away. If I do the frog secretions thing, I want to be sure that doesn't interfere with the upcoming surgery lol.

I dropped it straight - was about a year in almost and thought "Imagine 10 years hwo much damage I'll do"
2:136
Say, ˹O believers,˺ We believe in Allah and what has been revealed to us; and what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and his descendants; what was given to Moses, Jesus, and other prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them. And to Allah we all submit.

If you want to stop then just stop. You will probably feel like **** for a few weeks and then you'll feel great.
Just decide to quit and then quit.

I'm staying off completely for now and then will get back to my 2-3 cigs a month when drinking that always worked well for me in the past
A lot of it is genetic I think in terms of how hard you find it.

Used to dip a can a day because I was in the baseball industry for work and 20-40% of everyone would dip daily.
Got off of dip and switched to the little 5mg snus pouches. They helped me quit my horrible habit and went from a can a day to 2-3 little pouches a day. I can leave one in for 5-6 hours and there’s absolutely no nicotine left in them at that time but just having it in my lip stops me from craving more.
Now if I see people spitting into an empty bottle with their dip spit, it makes me sick to my stomach and can’t believe I used to do that daily for years.
Also made my relationship so much better, had to always hide my dipping habits from my wife so I’d get very moody when we were together on a vacation or something and I couldn’t sneak off to buy a can. It was bad, sometimes I would start a fight over nothing just so I could leave the hotel and find a can. It was very bad. But thank God I got away from that at least.
I’ll prob cut these snus pouches out in the very near future but I’m just not ready yet. Good luck OP

I started dipping in 8th grade in wood shop, I played football and it being the deep south we all dipped, half of them were driving to school in 8th grade. by senior year I had a full time job and it was a can of Copenhagen everyday.
I tried to switch to vaping, but it's so fukkking gay I can't, currently lightly smoking American Spirit black or purples. I use the tobacco and roll my own little smokes, no filter, about half a cig's worth of tobacco, and I coat the paper with wax, that way I smoke much less, but am still very satisfied. Even after being nicotine free for 6 months, I couldn't stop thinking about it, moderation is key.
The cravings I have for nicotine are far worse than I've ever had for actual drugs like Klonopin or ********, which is really weird to me, I can just leave them alone, but nicotine just sticks in my brain like poocy.

I'm William, and I've conquered the obstacles posed by addiction. I had previously battled drug addiction, but I bravely decided to get treatment and attended an alcohol treatment center ventura . I was able to close this challenging chapter in my life with perseverance and encouragement, and I now lead a happy and healthy life.

I quit cold turkey after like 15 years os 2 packs a day. You just have to be a man and say no.
It only sucks for the first couple days and then you are free of it.
Just sack up and say no. Those treatments and pills and patches and all that crap is made by tobacco companies to prolong the wuitting so you get tired of it and start using it again.
3 days,, thats it, you dont need anyones help or assistance or support , just look in the mirror and be the man you know you are.

"To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other."-- Carlos Castaneda
