Loved Rome + Spartacus. This was pre LGBTQI and other nonsense. Light a candle for that which has become forlorn.

I thought 2 seasons was enough. The ending was satisfying with everyone going their separate ways. Any longer than that and chit would start to get ridiculous. BRB Let's have Romans fighting vampires and werewolves.
No reason to drag it out into suckfest mode like they're doing with Westworld now.

The series had a lot of time skips especially near the end. Octavian is like 11 in the beginning and 19 at the end.
Nothing I post is serious.

Defiantly, just look at how feminists flipped their chit when the dragon queen feminist icon nuked a city.

A show as androcentric as this could not happen, not to mention the slavery. BRB gotta cancel all the ancient society's that were built on slave labor. History is evil so we gotta burn it

I remember watching this series when it came out. I have never seen any tv show quite like it at that time. Definitely one of my favorites and deserves a rewatch after all these years.

Ciaran Hinds was by far the greatest portrayal of Caesar..... and James Purefoy's depiction of Mark Antony was spot on....

Actually the entire cast was perfect. Even the actors that played young Octavian and adult Octavian were both phenomenal....

And Kerry Condon was an absolute hottie, especially her moaning...
Everything I post is satire.
