True story OP. Ships from China are being delayed for weeks because of California's cuck policies. As a result, there is a container shortage in China and ships are returning partially full and balanced with empties to meet the need.

Pretty close to true. Not all the ships are from China, but the majority are. The other issue we've been having is the longshoreman are not filling all positions on the dock on a daily basis. Some days only 50% of positions are being filled. This slows down the whole process.

Then, ships leave LA/LB they typically head to Oakland and then Seattle. Because of the long delay in the South, they are bypassing Oakland all together.

It's a mess.

no its not. can confirm--importing roughly 50 million worth of goods from overseas this year, and it has been a **** show in regards to delays. we have some ware that has been parked waiting to dock for 15 days.

Was hoping someone who knew what they were tlaking about would not correct me. That's bad news. So I imagine delays happen. How out of sorts is this, really? Also, what do you think may be the cause?
