Why do people in prison indulge in ghey secks?

I remember when I went to juvie for a few months and loads of them were at it, this guy used to walk round offering people cigarettes for a quick bj.

It just strikes me as odd that as soon as people get into that environment they are all keen on it.

And no, I didn't give a bj for cigarettes.
