Like polio, nearly everyone catches it and quickly gets better. Also like polio, a small minority of people get very, very sick and some die. In both cases, it's low single-digits percentile-wise. Would you have declined the polio vaccine for your family? Cause if you don't get COVID vaccine - same thing. Permanent pulmonary fibrosis, needing supplemental oxygen around the clock, and a lung transplant or death are pretty awful. Young otherwise healthy people come in with massive pulmonary emboli from blood clots induced by COVID. It's legit. And yet the vast majority have little to no symptoms. Just like Polio.

a good portion were once again "probable" cases that were not tested at all

some very old, very fat or very immunocompromised people were nudged faster toward deathsecondarilyby the virus

and nobody will ever even know how many of those there are
